Chapter 11: Victoria

"Victoria."

I blurted out as David and my daughter gave me a petrified look.

"What?!"

They both exclaimed.

"I said I'm naming you Victoria oh teenage one, named after my beloved father the great, the one and only, father of all kind of his history, Victor who died in order to save his people."

I responded with a confused face. Victoria then gave me the look, as if she wanted to know of my past, thus I said to her,

"No,no,no you're too young to know of my past, let's just focus on getting your father and live happily ever after."

"Hahahahaha, you really, truly are a  crazy woman, how are you gonna have a happily ever after when there's still a war going on between lycans and vampires"

Responded David in a high self esteem behavior. As stupid I may have sounded, I pulled him by the ear and whispered in his ear,

"Just focus on getting my husband and then we'll think of something"
"Alright, OK, fine, leave my ear for crying out loud, it hurts..."

David cried out to me. Soon enough we arrived at the laboratory where I was kept for fifteen long years. As I jumped out of the vehicle, David and Victoria both followed me.

"Hold your horses!"

I exclaimed.

"No, you're not coming with me, neither of you are, now get inside the vehicle and wait."

I continued with a terrified face.

"But, you must be safe, you're still our leader."

David softly responded to me.

"Let me tell you something sir, my daughter saw hell and heaven in that place ever since she was born, and I won't allow them to catch her and make her see hell and heaven again." "Heard me clearly sir?"

I blurted out to him with disgust.

"But Seleen..."

Responded David before I rudely disrupted him.

"No buts, just please take care of Victoria for me, I won't be long, just wanna see what these bitches are up to."

As I hurled them back into the vehicle, I quickly sneaked into the laboratory to find some information on Nate. There, everything was completely ruined from the mess I made. Suddenly, I sensed a sneak attack from humans a few feet away from me, as I turned around, one stabbed me with a knife. I quickly pulled it out and broke his neck as I bit him and the injured part healed. It was another new secret power I've just discovered of myself. Could this night get any better. Suddenly I felt the presence of another human being behind me, as I jumped over him, I captured him and closed the room, forcing him to speak what he knew.

"My, my name is professor Corvin subject number one, I was, was responsible for you"

He responded with a scared emotion.

"Shut the hell up and tell me something I don't know, where's my husband!"

I exclaimed to him with a hell of a slap.

"I'm sorry, he escaped, we're currently looking for you both, as well as your off spring, you three are the rarest of your kind"

He once again stated with a terrified emotion.

"Where would Nate have gone, knowing how weak he is, poor thing haven't even tasted blood in years."

I mentioned to myself, then reminding I could sense anyone from miles away.

"And my powers?" "Why have you done this to me?"

I silently asked him.

"We are human beings, captured and forced to assist the lycans in defeating you vampires, thus when we caught you, we tried poisoning all three of you, your daughter and you were immune but your husband, subject number three, he was too weak for it."

He responded to me with a cunning face. I then smacked him against the wall and choked him and yelled,

"What's with the new expression!" "Tell me about my powers, all of them!"

"You, you, you, could fly, heal your self after an injury and others too, jump from many heights, and any possible thing you could think of, even walk in sunlight..."

He responded with a squeaked voice as I dashed him across the room. I silently walked and sat on the ground, whispering to myself,

"Walk in sunlight he said..." "Nate, I'm coming for you babe."

As he helplessly left on the ground, he laughed wickedly as he said,

"A hybrid she is now, more powerful than any living species, they've already caught her, She's desperately needed in the laboratory, Doctor Malcom is here..."

As furious as I got I kicked him in the face and ran off towards Victoria's aid. Malcom? Why does that name sounds familiar?
