Again

They held hand and took it slow
For they knew when they were together
That life couldn't take another blow
And damage their hearts forever

It took them a second
A mere second
To realize their love was unconditional
Look at each other, and proclaim it all

She smiled, and he smiled back
So they fit together like gloves
And when they kissed and laughed
He looked at her as if she was an angel from above

There were never lies
Or useless alibis
She loved him, and him her,
So they never sank or went under

Love at first sight,
They called it
From the very first light
None of them ever felt unloved

When they hugged and exchanged goodbyes
All they wanted to do was bide their time
So they vowed to do it over
To repeat this day again and again

And so that's how it went
Again and again
