I walked slowly to the school. I was delivering pizza to the most elite school in England, Winchester school. According to the news, the students there are so sophisticated, elegant and they are all from rich families. The whole campus was huge but I followed the directions of the texts on my mom's phone and soon enough I got to the ballroom. The ballroom was painted in white and covered with different lights, starting from the chandelier to the white tiles covered with blue and pink feathers. Everyone was dressed in fancy white clothes. The walls were covered with silver glitter in a striped form; The party looked fancy. There were lots of drinks and foods on different tables. They even called Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber for a live show. I gave the pizza boxes to one of the students and I snatched some food from the table and hid them in the hood of my hoodie as I slipped past the door. I walked outside the main door slowly, smiling to myself. My mom, dad and 2 brothers will like these snacks. As I walked to the side of the road, I saw a guy dart across the street and stand still in the middle. He looked scared and ready to die, why would he want to die? The road was empty but as soon as he stood in the middle, everyone from the party came out and stood by the side of the road as a student entered a white car and started driving really fast from the end of the street and he was heading towards the boy. Out of instinct, I rushed to the guy and pushed him out of the street as all my snacks hidden in my hoodie poured out on the ground, laid for the car to smash. He looked tired and scared and he started crying.

I stood up and picked him up from the ground. He looked at my hands and started yelling ¨WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SAVE ME?! I want to die. This school is like hell". I looked at him confused. Why would he think this school is hell? It is a really big school with lots of good opportunities that only the elite people can get. "The food and snacks here are good, why would this place be hell?" I answered quickly. He looked at me with a silent awe. His eyes were showing hints of amusement but his face didn't show it. "And since you aren't dead now why don't you start over? If this school is hell then move to a different school. You don't have to waste your life because people here don't like you" I said whilst in thought. He answered almost immediately "It's not about the people here liking me. It's because of the Hunter squad". "Hunter Squad?!" I asked. "Yes, the Hunter Squad..you don't even know who they are" he said with a chuckle. He grabbed my hands and stood up. I was so deep in the conversation that I didn't remember all the students surrounding us. Most of them already pulled out their phones taking photos and videos of what happened. I walked to the bus stop and sat in the bus thinking for the whole ride. Winchester college was 3 hours away from my house so I had a lot of time to think. I don't know what happened to that student but I'm glad he didn't die.

The next few days didn't go as a breeze like it used to. Media people followed me to the diner where I work part-time, taking pictures of me through the window's glass pane. News about what I did spread like a wildfire and everyone was talking about it and even adding a part about Winchester college giving me a scholarship. I got home to a letter and 4 excited family members. My brothers spread the news to my parents 2 days ago and they've been hyped up since then. I opened the small black door of my house slowly, hanging on to the smell of cinnamon on my mom's clothes as she rushed to hug me. I looked over her neck and saw a strange man in a suit in our house. He looked simple and elegant at the same time. He was wearing a suit but his facial features and his eyes looked soft. He had wrinkles on the sides of his blue eyes and his brown hair was laid flat on his head. He introduced himself as John Winchester's assistant. He shook my hands and right before he started to talk, my brothers said "THEY ARE GIVING YOU A SCHOLARSHIP!" and they all started clapping. I fake-smiled and said "NO!". "why?!" My mom said "oh, she's just kidding, aren't you ESMERALDA SELENE BAINES?". Her brown eyes looked cross and her lips were tightly packed together as she was forcing a smile. The wrinkles around her eyes looked deeper as she frowned at me. She kept her hands behind her apron but I knew she was holding it tightly waiting to see my reaction. I knew right then that I couldn't argue, my mom said my full name which she only says when she is super mad or done with a conversation. I fumbled with my glasses, trying to act like I was deep in thought, before I said"Thank you very much, kind sir. I would love to attend your school and it would be an honor to start school soon" I said with a careful smile, making sure I didn't stop smiling as I talked. My mom's frown changed to a smile as quickly as the frown came. She winked at me proudly and my dad just smiled caringly. We provided drinks for the man but he skipped it saying he had to be somewhere else so my mom followed him to the door. After he left, I noticed that he brought the school uniforms and a house address.
