We took care of the injured before we headed off. My powers where for some reason completely kaput. It scared me slightly since when I first arrived here in this time I'd used my powers effortlessly and could change back and forth between a wolf and a human. So I took care of the wounded the old-fashioned way with my own hands which I'm glad I learned how to do now. So I made a mental note to thank Will Solace and Chiron once I got back to camp.
Once all of the wounded had been tended to we headed off towards the Magician. We got there by noon the next day. The whole time I had to put up with Savva saying how great of a team Anggee and I where in the fight and if I could teach him some of my moves once we got him back to the village. I didn't say anything cause for some reason I had this feeling in the back of my head that this was going to be the last time I talked to him and the others. Anggee on the other hand not so sure.
The house I had to say looked nice. I helped Nanty off of Anggee. Then Anggee stepped forward."I know this house from stories it is the house of the old witch."
"Okay then" I said
Anggee then went closer to the house,"House turn your back to the forest and your front to me" Anggee said
He then backed away,"That's what your suppose to say"
Then I heard a rumbling and a cracking sound. The house stood up on to it's legs, yes I said legs as in turkey legs, and turned it's back to the forest and the entryway to us. which was underground apparently. I just rolled with it. "Who is this old witch again?" Savva asked
"She is a witch who-" Anggee started to say
"A witch who what?" Savva said
"Eat's children" I told him tired of beating around the bush
"Of course she does" Savva smiled
We all entered the house and it lowered back into the ground. We all climbed the steps of the house till we came to what appeared to be her study. "Well that's a good sign" Fafl said
I resisted the urge to tell him to shut up. But I saw what he meant, the entire place was ransacked. The rocker on the other hand was moving back and forth so Savva went to investigate it and it turned out to be just a shirt. Then a little girl with blonde hair stepped out from the far stair case. "You where expecting a magic cloak?" She said
"Honestly we where expecting a witch" Savva said
"Oh old witch no she hasn't lived here for years." She said
"What happened to her?" Anggee asked
"Let's just say she tried to eat the wrong little girl" She said
"Your the Magician. Whelp. That went out the window. Sheesh you magic people are so confusing first Quintus and now you" I said
She chuckled, "Well your kind does have a tendency to get in over their heads so it's normal"
"You can say that again" I muttered
Everyone looked between the two of us, the girl picked up on it. "Let me guess magicians have to be men and old it's a rule. Well it's nice to see people again. You must want something. Go ahead Savva"
"You know my name?" Savva asked surprised
"Really" I told him with a raised eyebrow
"Now out with it" She said
"I was told if I made my way to you. You might have a warrior here who can help save my village." Savva said
"Up those stairs he's been waiting for you" She said
Savva went up the stairs towards the attic. The rest of us remained down stairs. "Ah Fafl. Remind me again why where you cursed"She asked
"Because of my pride and arrogance" Fafl said
"So he finally admits it" I grinned
She then made him a full-fledged Barron and the curse was lifted. It wasn't that much of an improvement, but hey who am I to complain. She then moved to Nanty and then to Puffy. Before she finally came to me. "Ah Chris Verde. A half-breed." She said
"Please don't use my full name it makes me think I'm in trouble" I told her
"Right. Chris you where brought here to this time for a reason. It was to get over yourself doubt that you gained after the end if the Battle of the Labyrinth in which you lost many of your close friends in. This was meant to help you grow for when the final clash between Gods and Titans came about. It was to test you as a person and as both halves of a whole being. You passed with flying colors" She said
"Thank you" I told her
"When you walk out the door you will be returned to where you where taken from. They need you Back home now more than ever" She said
"Alright I'll keep that in mind. "I told her
Then it was Anggee's turn. He told her the lesson that the Rickies had learned and they where better for it. When he was finished he couldn't transform back into a Rickie anymore. With that everything was done and Savva came down the steps without the hero. I think he realized that he was the hero finally. "Well let's get going to save my village" Savva said
I had to tell him. "Actually Savva this is good-bye" I said
"What no it's not. Your going to stay with us and..." Savva started to say
"I'm afraid not Savva. She is needed back in her home time" The magician said
"But you'll come back right?" Savva asked
"I'm afraid Savva that I won't be coming back. I was brought here to get over the self doubt that I got after the Battle of the Labyrinth. I have done what I was sent here to do"I told him
He looked down. "Savva come here" I told him
He stood right in front of me. i knelt down so we where eye level with one another. "I may never come back, but I'll never forget any of you got it and I expect you to do the same with me." I said taking out one of my daggers" Here Savva I want you to have this"
He took it, "What is it?"

"It's an Elvish Dagger it's already seen the throws of battle many times already so there is no need to worry about it to much. Think of it as a starting point. Once you come of age go to the south to find Chiron my teacher and show him this dagger. He'll teach you what you need to know should you decide to continue with swordsmanship, just as he taught me. " I told Savva
"Wow" Savva said
"And when the time comes pass it on to your children from now till the end of time itself. When they show this proudly I will know that they are from your family line, Savva." I smiled
"Thank you Chris" Savva said putting the dagger on his belt
I looked at the magicain and nodded my head. "Puzulesta" She said and the house shifted
We all staggered a bit and once it stopped we went down the steps once again. Savva left first followed by Anggee, Nanty, Fafl, Puffy, and finally me. They all passed through the doorway with no problem. I took a breath and stepped through. Next thing I know I have just stepped out of Cabin 42. I turned back to the other side, "Thank you Everyone"
