jin bites his nails, an anxious expression fixated on his face. he was worried.
was this how he felt when i left him?
he doesn't know the answer, and never will either.

a few days ago jin had arrived from the military to bangtan and no one could be happier. sadly, yoongi was missing because he had gone to the military.

hoseok was supposed to go with namjoon, but he had had an accident causing a tear in his leg muscle, so his trip to the military had been delayed, fortunately for him. but now namjoon was going alone.
jin bites his nails more

"hey" namjoon says softly, taking jins hand in his and kissing it gently.
jin just stares at his hand worriedly
"hey what's wrong" he says lifting jins face and searching it
"y-you're gonna be alone" jin stutters and winces at his own words
"so were you baby, i'm not any different"
"you are different" jin says angry at his calmness
"and why is that" namjoon asks bemused
"you can't cook without burning yourself, you can't clean without making more of a mess, you can't help without making it harder, and you can't comfort anyone because you know it'll hurt more when you leave them" jin gets out in one breath staring down angrily at namjoon who looked sad.
"jin" he says softly
"namjoon" jin mimics

it's 4am in the dorms, everyone was asleep except the two. jin had gone to namjoons room to spend his last few hours with him, before he went to the military.

they were under the blanket, namjoon was laying down with jins head on his chest, holding him.
their legs were entangled together.
namjoon turned slightly and held jins cheek and stroked it with his thumb.

"i love you so much"
"stop it namjoon i'm serious" jin says still angry.
"i know you are, and you're just so freaking cute when you're mad" namjoon says and smiles, leaning down and rubbing his nose on jins nose as he sighs.

"i'll miss you too dork" he says sadly and wraps his arms around namjoons neck, bringing him down.
they fall asleep, wishing the night to last forever.
