We both sat at a booth and ordered breakfast and some coffee. We sat in silence for a few minutes till the food came. The waitress came and place the food onto the table and gave Evan a wink as she left. I looked at him and started giggling.
What's so funny Del? he said curiously not knowing what happened
Nothing. Let's just eat. I said while laughing in between words.
I was about to take a bite when I felt eyes staring at me. I look up to see Evan starting at me waiting for something.
Can I help you, Evan? I asked with a slight smile
Oh sorry, I was waiting for you to tell me how your breakfast parfait is. he says with a big smile
I looked at my breakfast parfait and back at Evan. I take a bite and smile like a kid at Evan that made him giggle.
THIS IS SO GOOD! I yelled at Evan
Do you want to try my breakfast crepe? Evan said
REALLY?!? ARE YOU SURE? still yelling at him
Evan nods his head with a smile holding the crepe waiting for me to take a bite. I took a bite and looking more like a kid on Christmas. Then I see the waitress give a dirty look at me because of what happened. I looked at her and back at Evan, he looked so confused.
Did you like it? he asked
IT'S FUCKING DELICIOUS! I yelled
I'm glad but what's so funny? he asked while still confused
Did you notice the waitress winked at you when we got our food? Also, she gave me a dirty look when I took a bite of your crepe. I said when I told him the second part he looked upset but then change his expression.
Hey, want to go back to my house and hang out? We can watch movies or play video games. he asked
