"I think today is going to be me my last day here with my parents" Katie said as we sat up on the roof. "Why" I said. "I have a feeling something bad is going to happen" She said. "Like today" I said. "Yeah, it's like I can feel it, you're the one with the powers, tell me what's going to happen" She said. "I don't see anything" I said. "You're being overdramtic, let's go inside" I said dropping down from the roof.

"Ladies down here now" I heard her father's voice, you see her parents aren't to fond of me because I'm a fledgling. "Yes father" She said. He didn't answer. "Yes" She screamed again. "What does he want" She asked me to read his mind. "His mind is blocked" I said. "Come on" I said flashing down the steps with her.

"We're in here" the her mother said. "What do you guys-" She stopped and hissed. It was nora. "Your parents said they wanted to get rid of a unwanted guest" She said her fangs on each side of her mouth. "I thought you went away for good" I said drawing out my fangs. "Well im back, and I want blood" she hissed. "Mom, dad how could you" Katie said. "What dear, you thought we'd let her stay, she's a fledgling" Her dad said.  "I've been waiting for this moment for a long time" Nora said pushing me outside the door. "In Your dreams" I kicked her and she flew back. "Bad choice" She spat kicking me with all her might making me fly through the trees and crash into someone's yard. "Yeah that hurt" I said withdrawing my fangs getting up knocking on the random door and a boy opened the door. "Can I help you" He said. "Um are Your parents home" I said.  "No" He dragged out. "Where are they" I said. "I'm sorry but do I know you" He said. "I'm jesse, now you know me" I said pushing past him.

"There's someone calling you from outside" The boy said. "Shit" I said looking his group of friends. "Take your friends and go upstairs" I said. "Why-" Before he could finish nora burst through the door. "Thought I was finish" she said. "No but I am" I said drawing my fangs and lunging on her. "Get off" she hissed. "Leave" I said. "You know why I'm here" She wiggled for me to get off her. "I said  leave" I kicked her just as she did me and she went flying.

"She wont be back here for a while she only comes when summoned" I said turning around to met with a girl who flung me into a bookcase with her mind. "People have to stop throwing me I'm not a toy" I groaned trying to get up but she held me down. "Wow your strong" I said. "What do you want" She said. "Well for starters for you you let me up" I said and she threw me on the couch and held me down there. "Shocker" I said sarcastically.  "Can somebody please tell her to stop" I whined. "El stop" The boy said and she stopped but kept her eyes on me. "Down girl, I'm not going to hurt y'all" I said. "Then What was all that" A cute boy said. "Oh nora, we go way back" I said.

Before anybody could say something Katie ran and and hissed. "Anybody move and you become dinner" She said. "I'm just playing I don't eat people" She said. "Then how do you survive" A small boy said. "Well with comes the whole, I don't die thing, I eat animals" she said.

"What the hell is wrong with this place first demogorgans now vampires, whats next werewolves" A red head said. "No they don't exsist" I said. "Well until 5 minutes ago vampire's don't exist" A darkskined boy said. "Hey we don't eat people but we do eat assholes" Katie said. "Well I don't eat either" I said. "Well what do you eat" The cute boy said. "I can make anything I want appear" I said snapping and a milkshake appeard and I took a sip. "Doesn't human food weaken a vampire" A boy said. "Well when you're a fledgling, it doesn't really affect you" I shrugged. "So cool" the boy said. "You want to live forever" I said drawing my fangs and that girl who looked oddly familiar out her hand up. "Jesus sweetheart I'm not going to hurt him" I said stopping her. "Well we have to be going, nice meeting you guys" I said grabbing Katie and flashed out.

"So where are we going to stay" She said. "I pop up a house but it will only stay for 4 hours" I said. "Lets keep that as plan b" She said flashing into the night. "I'm a fledgling, I'm weak" I huffed catching up to her. "Im sorry, I found this house standing alone, can you see what's in it" She said and I closed my eye's and searched. "There's a man" I said. "What's he doing" She said. "Watchinv tv" I said. "Come on let's go" she said about to flash. "Don't flash there's cars coming" I said levating and flashing us to the house but when we got down I fell out. "Jesse, are you ok" She said. "Oh me, I'm fine just a little light headed" I said. The guy must of heard us because he opened the door. "Can I help you" He said. "Help" She said and he carried me into the house.

"Can you tell me your name" He said.  "Jesse" I managed to get out. "And you" He pointed to Katie. "It's Katie" she said. "Well katie and Jesse im Steve and can you tell me why you guys are not at home it's late" He said. "Well we don't have a home" she said. "Why" He said. "You wont believe us" She said. "Over everything that happens in these past years, I will belevie anything" He said.

She told him everything and he sat there shocked. "Ok now that's, new" he said. "Well thank you, im feeling much better, well get out of your hair now" I said. "No" He said. "You guys can stay here" He said. "No it's ok we'll be fine" I said about to flash out. "No I'm serious, I have a extra room and I can lend you some of my cousin clothes and my parents are hardly around" he said. "Are you serious" Katie said. "Yeah" He said. "Thank you" She gave him a hug. "It's fine stay here as long as you need" He said.

"Let show you the room" He said guiding us down a hall and into a room. "You guys can sleep here" He said closing the door. "Do you think we can trust him" I said. "Well let's hope for the best" She said climbing into bed with me and laying down next to me.
