Olivia's POV:
it was a normal day. i was going to hangout with my best friend peter. not going to lie i may have a tiny crush on him...
my thoughts are interrupted when my father barges in my room, ready to give me my daily beating. i haven't told peter about the abuse yet because i'm afraid that he will do something and something bad will happen to him. but i'm planning on telling him soon, i'm just looking for the right time.
my father hasn't always beaten me, it only started happening after my mom left when i was 14. im 16 now. me and peter started becoming friends about 3 years ago, a year before my mom left.
when she left it really affected me and peter both. she was like his second mom. after all his mom left after he was born. peters dad died of a drug overdose after pete's mom left. but at least me and peter have each other.
my dad starts hitting me when i smell the alcohol on his breath. he's drunk. of course. he finished hitting me when i realized that my nose was bleeding and i had several bruises on my body. he left the house to go to the bar again.
i cleaned myself up and put foundation on the bruises. i got so good at covering up my marks that you couldn't even tell there was a bruise when i was done.
after i finished i started to head out to go see peter. i'm going to tell pete soon.
