When Jared awoke, they were still on the road, the engine humming softly under the music blasting from the old speakers, static barely in the background of the music. Misha was still asleep in the back seat, laying on the door. Jensen was whistling along to the song, tapping his fingers on the gearshift.

Jensen noticed Jared woke up. "Hey, sleep well?" He asked with a tiny smile. Jared nodding, rubbing his eyes. Jensen chuckled. "Dude. Do your little Sam thing and look for a case." Jared quickly fumbled for his phone, searching for 'strange deaths recently' in the Google search bar.

What popped up surprised him. "Uh... There was a woman in... Joplin, Missouri was killed with... Wait for it: her heart ripped out." He said, placing his phone back in his lap. "Wow." Was all Jensen said at first, looking bewildered. "You know what that means." Jensen looked up at Jared. "Werewolf, " They said at the same time. They both chuckled.

Misha groaned groggily from behind them, yawning. "Hey, guys... What's going on?" He leaned forward between the front seats, looking at Jared expectantly. Jared explained the situation to Misha, who was nodding the entire time. "Let's check it out!" Misha yowled, chuckling.

About two hours on the road, some sad tunes started playing on the radio. Jensen was humming along, and Jared joined in shortly after. Misha tapped along to the best to join in too, bobbing his head a little. Jared looked out the window at the dead streets to pass the time.

They arrived at the scene, which was swarming to cops and men in fancy suits. Jensen gave his friends fake I.D badges and the trio stepped out of the car, swinging the doors shut. Jared led the group, putting on his best stern expression. Misha straightened his tie and Jensen popped his neck.

Jared approached a local officer who was chatting quietly with a distressed mother. Jared tapped his shoulder and the officer spun around in surprise. "Ah, the FBI." He said with an unnecessary smile. "I'm Officer Knight, what brings you three here?" Jensen answered this time. "Well, we're here about the... Death, " he said, motioning toward the body of the young girl who was bleeding from scratches all over her body including the wound on her chest where her heart was.

Officer Knight nodded solemnly. "Oh yeah. Most everyone is sayin' it was some kinda animal attack. But I betcha it was one of those really skilled serial killers." He said nodding. Jared and Jensen exchanged a glance. "We're sure you that we'll deal with it," Misha said, straightening his tie yet again.

The officer nodded in agreement, smiling again. "Alrighty! I'll be at the office if ya' need me!" He said merrily, walking back to his patrol car. Misha sighed. "He seems a little. Cheerful, doesn't he?" Misha asked. "Way too cheerful," Jensen said distastefully, looking up at Jared, who only responded with a nod of acknowledgment.

The trio slowly wandered over to the body after speaking to a few more policemen. Jared crouched down beside the deceased woman, examining her wounds. "Huh." He said. "What is it?" Jensen asked, crouching down as well. "Not only is her heart gone, but check this out." He pointed to symbols carved into the woman's neck.

"Nobody mentioned any carving, " Misha said with a huff, crossing his arms. "So what? We got religious wolves?" Jensen chuckled.
