"Excuse me what?!" Jared blurted out. "Okay, this is too strange." He stood up, edging for the door. "Hey! Dude, wait!" He heard Jensen call out to him before he opened the door and walked out onto the parking lot, closing it behind him. A few seconds later, he heard the door open as Jensen stepped out. "Dude, you alright?" He asked Jared, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Jared flinched away a bit before sighing. "No, man." He said flatly. "I never expected I'd be out here hunting monsters and having to deal with weird reflections." He hissed, closing his eyes and running his hand down his face. Jensen frowned. "Well, we're doing it. If we don't who will?" He batted his shoulder before heading back toward the door.

A smile creased Jared's face and he chuckled lightly. "That was very Dean of you, " He said, turning to face Jensen. Jensen stopped, smiling at Jared. "Well, I'm a very 'Dean' person." He said, pointing up a finger gun before walking inside. Jared followed gingerly, still slightly tired. Misha greeted them fondly as they both entered.

They all sat around the table for a few minutes, conversing about what to hunt next. Misha suggested they tackle a vampire nest down in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Jensen and Jared both agreed, so they took to the road shortly after, Jensen's music blaring as they passed cars. Most people with rolled down windows gave them odd looks.

After about an hour and a half, they arrived at the Comfort Inn. Jared took the time to put the stuff in their suitcases away while Misha and Jensen looked over the incident documentation. "Says here that the victims were drained of their blood and then, and I quote, 'Thrown in a meat grinder', " Jensen said with a straight face, glaring up at Jared.

"Sounds like vamps to me." Jared shrugged. "Alright. Let's go." Jared grabbed his FBI gear and changed into it in the bathroom, stepping out with his hair combed for once. He slipped on his black coat, straightening his matte tie. He put on his shoes, tying the laces effortlessly. "Lookin' good, brother." Jensen chuckled. Jared rolled his eyes, opening the door and walking over to the Impala.

Misha hopped into the backseat, and Jensen slipped into the driver's seat. He started the car, the engine sputtering as always. He backed out of his parking space, veering left and speeding down the roadway, causing unsuspecting drivers to swerve out of his way. "Dude, you are gonna get us arrested!" Jared said with a laugh. "I can talk my way out of it, " Jensen responded with a wink.

Jared scoffed and rolled his eyes, leaning back in his seat. After about fifteen minutes they arrived at the scene. They all stepped out of the car in sync, straightening their tied and fixing their jackets. Jared motioned for Jensen and Misha to speak to the officers by the body and he'd go for the main officer standing by the patrol car.

They nodded, swiftly branching off to go the opposite way. Jared approached the officer. "Afternoon, officer." He said curtly, showing the man his badge. The officer took a glance at it before looking up at Jared. "Afternoon..." He replied warily, raising an eyebrow. "What are the feds doing all the way down here?" He asked, crossing his arms. "We were sent down here by HQ, " Jared explained with a chuckle. The officer simply nodded but didn't say anything.

"So, what can you tell me about the case?" Jared asked as they began wandering around the scene. "Well... The witness, the vic's sister, told us that she was on the phone with her younger sister when she stopped talking for a bit. And then she heard screaming." He explained. Jared nodded to show he was following along and the officer continued.

"The Vic hadn't a drop of blood in her when we found her." He continued. Jared nodded, narrowing his forest green eyes as he looked over at the body covered by a dark tarp. "Any wounds to note?" Jared continued to stare at the body, his hands behind his back with a straight posture making him look even taller than he really was.

"Mhm. There was a nite mark in her neck, near the head." The officer said quietly as if it sounded weird for him to say out loud. That was enough for Jared, as he said goodbye to the officer before departing, heading back towards Misha and Jensen. Before he made it over there, he peered at his reflection in a puddle. His reflection stared back, unmoving, with a blank expression.

After a few seconds, however, the reflection started moving on its own once again. Jared flinched a little, looking around to make sure nobody was watching him before crouching down by the puddle. The reflection did the same, looking at him with a confused expression now. Jared placed his hand close to the water curiously, waiting to see if there would be a response.

The reflection reluctantly put its hand up to Jared's, spreading its fingers out. "Hi," Jared said flatly, not expecting an answer. The reflection flinched as if it weren't expecting Jared go actually speak to it. "Hey." It replied awkwardly.
