I groan throwing the pillow over my head to try and block out the noise and extreme sunlight flooding into my room. That didn't stop someone from ripping the pillow away from me and lifting me out of bed.
"You have a big day today Princess, there may even be some potential meetings with suitors"
I groan. See this wouldn't be a problem if Princess was my nickname, but it's not. I'm an actual Princess. Yup. Next in line for the throne and everything. However not quite, because I "haven't been courted" as my mother likes to say. Let's be honest here, it's because I'm not married or engaged, but I'm a teenager, what do you expect from me. I sleep, eat, go to school...that's really it. I'm not that appealing.
Anyways, the next thing I know my sleepy body is being dropped in the bathroom, my dress and tiara for the day already hanging inside as I'm told to "hurry up" because I have "things to do" :

After finally waking myself up with a shower and getting myself ready, I walked out of my room to be met with Yoona. She's like my second mom, and has been taking care of my schedules since I was young.
"Glad to see your awake finally"
She says.
"You forcibly removed me from my bed...remember"
I tease back, and she chuckles before leading me out the hallway attached to my room.
"Apparently some princes interested in courting you will be visiting tonight's festivities"
"Great"
I say sarcastically while rolling my eyes.
"Why can't I just choose a suitor myself. There's this cute boy at school and his name is Mingi. He asked me out last week and I told him to give me a few days to think about it. He's from a nice family and everything, and-"
"Y/n"
Yoona cut me off. She's really strict about following the traditions, same way my parents are. Deep down I know they would never let me have Mingi, but he's just so attractive and he's really nice. He wants to be a rapper, yet another reason why they wouldn't let me date him.
