Hi everyone! I really can't believe it took me this long to update on here again 🤦🏽‍♀️ I had one of the worst writers blocks ever. I would get an idea for a story, start it, and then never be able to come up with an ending. For those of you who are still here, I FINALLY was inspired enough to actually finish one, and I'm really proud of it, so I hope you like it too and leave comments ❤️

Renjun

Renjun was a person with a bit of an attitude, short person fury as they say, so when he met you, someone nonchalant and unbothered by basically everything, everyone was amazed at how perfectly you balanced each other out.

That being said, you and your lackadasical attitude were not for everyone. When he brought you to meet the other girlfriends, only one of them really took to you, Jaemins girlfriend. She had a bad attitude as well, so you got along.

That was why Renjun was shocked when one night at practice Jaemin got a call from his girlfriend, and after talking for a few minutes he held the phone out to Renjun with a scowl on his face.

"It's for you"

Suddenly he was nervous as he answered.

"Hello"

"Renjun! Why is Y/n on my couch bawling her eyes out because you forgot your third anniversary!"

"W-what?"

He stuttered. She started to say more but he was so confused he cut her off.

"I didn't forget our anniversary! I texted her happy anniversary this morning!"

The members in the room went silent, someone (probably Jaemin) let out a dramatic gasp as they all shifted to watching the second oldest pace back and forth, eavesdropping on the conversation.

"That's it?! You've been dating for three years!"

"You don't understand! Y/n never wants me to make a big deal out of anything! She didn't want me to celebrate her birthday, she didn't want me to celebrate her graduation, she didn't even want to celebrate MY birthday! What the fuck does she want from me!"

"Hey!"

Jaemin snapped repeatedly to get Renjuns attention.

"Don't curse at my girlfriend"

Renjun rolled his eyes but kept it in his mind.

"Can you just put Y/n on the phone"

"She doesn't want to speak to you"

In the background Renjun could hear that she must have gotten closer to you, because your crying was now audible in the speaker. Part of his heart started to tug, you never cried. He'd never seen you so much as shed a tear in the years you'd been together, and now the first time you were crying in front of him, he was the reason why.

At the same time he also inferred he was on speaker and you would be able to hear him.

"Y/n, I know you can hear me"

He heard you quiet down momentarily and took this as his sign to speak.

"I'm sorry, baby. I didn't know you wanted to do anything for our anniversary. You have to understand I'm so used to you not wanting to celebrate anything, I didn't think this would be any different"

Silence. He could hear your quiet sniffling though.

"Please don't be mad at me, im not a mind reader"
