3. love at first sight?

i come face to face with payton. why was he in the crowd? i'm not sure but i don't care at the moment. we stood there just staring at each other for a good minute before haley coughed to get our attentions. "excuse me lovebirds but the shows starting" haley said in a sarcastic tone.

i blushed so hard. but what made me turn into a tomato was when payton also looked at me and was blushing at the comment.

payton eventually had to go back up to the stage to do his part of the show. so far this night has been the best night of my life. after the show haley and i headed our way to the restaurant for the dates. i finally get to come face to face with payton again.

we made it to the restaurant early before anyone else surprisingly so we got extra alone time with our dates. that meant extra alone with payton for me. so i went inside and i came face to face with payton again and lowkey felt like love at first sight but i doubt it. i'm not what he wants.

((PAYTONS POV))

i saw that girl from the show earlier walk in and i seriously hope she is here for a date with me. she's really pretty and i kinda wanna get to know her more.

she walked in my direction and i got excited because she chose me as her date for tonight. since she's here early i took it upon myself to get to know her more before the rest of the other people get her and steal my attention away from her.

"hey" i said with a big smile on my face.

"hi" she said kinda shy but you could she was nervous.

"so whats your name?" i said. "y/n" she said. "that's a beautiful name" i said as she blushed.

((YOUR POV))

i was looking like a tomato when i was talking to him. i was lowkey embarrassed but he seemed to like it i think. when all the others arrived he was still staring at me and smiling. i was seating two seats away from him and i was talking to the others but still taking glances at him every once in a while.

after the date it was dark outside and we were saying goodbye to all the influencers. i said bye to payton last.
