These cards are also known as the Major Arcana Cards. There are precisely twenty-two cards in total. Twenty-one of them are marked and one of them is not marked at all. The unmarked card is most commonly recognized as the Fool. The Fool card is known to be the main character card of the entire deck.

Below I have made a list of all twenty-two cards. Each has a different picture on them as well as a number and serves as something utterly different from the other. The major arcana shows the universal characteristic of human nature.

No matter how much self-discovery you have done, but these cards shows that being whole and having fulfillment is our destiny as humans. Lets get to it then.

Meanings

These cards are read in more than just one way. There are many ways to read these cards, but because we are all beginners here, I am going to give you the two main ways to read these cards. You can read them in the upright position or the reversed position.

This means that each card has two different meanings, depending on how you read them. Remember, each and every card is different. Lets get started on the upright position meaning of these cards.

Upright Position

Judgement card.

When the Judgement card is provided in the upright position, this can mean one of many things for you as a reader. The Judgement card means a rebirth of something in the person that you are reading life; it can also mean an inner calling for them as well as absolution.

The Devil Card

When the Devil Card is chosen, and it's exposed facing upright, this means that they could have an attachment or an addiction to something. It can also mean that the person you are reading is restricting themselves from something. The Devil card also includes sexuality and their shadow self.

The Wheel of Fortune Card

When open upright, The Wheel of Fortune Card means good luck for the person that you are reading for. However, this card can also mean Karma and a turning point that will happen in their lives. The Wheel of Fortune Card also represents destiny and maybe even a new life cycle.

The Hierophant Card

Upright, the Hierophant card reveals that they have spiritual wisdom and strong religious beliefs. This also means that they conform to specific traditions and institutions.

The Magician Card

When the Magician Card is drawn in the upright position, it means power and manifestation. This card also means inspired action and resourcefulness.

The Lovers Card

When the Lovers Card is revealed in the upright position, it means harmony and love. The lover's card also serves as a persons value alignment as well as choices and relationships.

The Justice Card

When facing the upright position, the Justice Card resembles cause and effect in ones life. This card also shows justice and law. The Justice Card also represents fairness and truth.
