Florence woke to a gentle shoving feeling against her shoulder, groaning in annoyance she opened one of her eyes peeking through the blanket that was covering her face to see that her father was stood over her bed looking down at her.

"Time to get up." Chris told his eldest.

"Why are you doing this to me." She groaned at him before pulling the blanket back over her head hiding from the world.

"Get your lazy arse up, you have to get ready for school if you don't want to be late. And you've already missed to many days so you need to go." Her father told her forcefully leaving her no room to argue with him. Seeing that she wasn't moving he decided to do something about it, grabbing the edge of the blanket that was covering her he pulled it off before throwing it over his shoulder and walking out of her room, shouting behind him. "Get up because you're not getting your blanket back till you come home tonight."

Florence hit her fists into the bed like a child having a tantrum, huffing out a breath as she pushed herself to her feet and headed to her car grabbing her duffle bag full of clothes before getting ready and heading to school.

Muttering to herself under her breath Flo didn't like that she couldn't find anybody she knew and her sister had decided to stay at home for the day. Heading towards her first class of the day she saw Lydia at her locker getting her books.

"finally." The brunette spoke happily before walking over to the strawberry blonde-haired girl linking her arm through Lydia's. "I was about ready to leave since I couldn't find anybody I knew, now at least I have somebody to suffer through the boredom of English class with me."

Lydia just laughed at the girl that had quickly become her friend. "Yeah, yeah. Now come on before were late." She told her before dragging Florence behind her to class.

Walking in together the two girls were about to take their seats but before Florence could Lydia grabbed her arms. "Would you possibly be able to stay with me tonight at the recital?" She asked Flo with a scared look now across her face.

Worried for the girl Florence slid her hand into Lydia's and gave it a gentle squeeze for comfort. "Sure, I don't mind. Is something wrong?"

"I don't know I just have this feeling something bad is going to happen tonight." She admitted to the fox.
