"Still no Lorenzo huh? He knows how I get when you guys are late" Dad told us. I looked next to me where my bestfriend was supposed to be sitting. I miss him. I only talk to him and Walt. "He doesn't want to see my angry face" dad said then made a face. I smiled. Until he spoke up. "Mr.Iglesias you don't have what it takes to make an angry face" Mikey said then paused and continued "anger" "Yeah, your mad face would be a lot more effective without those crazy cute dimples" Marisol said. I looked down so nobody could see me roll my eyes. "Stop it" dad said while clicking his tongue. "What's the big deal with Lorenzo being late? So he misses a few minutes about the so called "Great Depression" Grace said while air quoting Great Depression. "You guys don't think it's important to be on time?" Dad asked. "What if Paul Revere had been late" dad asked again. I zoned out a little bit just thinking we're could my bestfriend be. "You know it's not always the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog" dad said everyone agreeing with him, until I spoke up for the first time today "Yeah. Those are the people who's asses get kicked" I said while looking at dad. "Yup. A lot" dad adds. I looked at my bestfriend desk who's missing when dad pass around a little yellow paper thing. "So take a look and be careful what you say" He said. I looked and spoke up "No way. This is half of my vocabulary" I said and looked up to see dad "well I'm that case that makes you a real number......................14" he said coming over to me to point at number 14. Everyone chuckled and some says ohh. "Uncalled for" I told him "didn't feel good right" he asked me. "It hurts more coming from a number six" I told him while looking at the paper. "number six, oh that's my favorite combo at jack in the box" dad said. "When Lunch" we both asked at the same time. We looked at each other when the bell rings, he yelled. "We did that with our minds" everyone except Marisol walks out. "Hey can I talk to you" someone said while grabbing my arm from walking away. "Look Mikey, I don't think it's the time, I'm gonna go look for my bestfriend" I told him while trying to walk away. "Look it's just gonna be a second" he said grabbing my hand again. I sigh and gave in. "Look, I know your mad at me you probably hate me but I love you and I didn't mean for this to happen. I know what I did was wrong but I promise it won't happen again. She was just a stupid mistake." He said with tears forming in his eyes. I didn't know what to do, I never really seen Mikey cry and if I did I probably forgot. I gave him a hug and whisper it's okay. "No it's not okay, I cheated on you and I don't want to lose you" he said this time now really crying. "I forgive you" I told him. He tried to kiss me but I ducked, and laughed. "I said I forgive you not that we are back together" I said and walked away to look for Lorenzo
