"Let's Do This One More Time"

Nine months later...

Chloe was just packing up her things and getting ready to go home when she hears her phone ring. Without looking, she picks it up and answer it.

"Hi, this is Dr. Beale" she says.

"It's going to be Mitchell soon" the other person on the line said.

"Very funny, Beca. We've talked about this" the redhead said making her way to her car.

"I know, I know.. I just can't help it." Beca laughed at the other end.

After what happened, Chloe decided to hold the wedding which Beca reluctantly agreed but understood where Chloe was coming from. Beca needed to gain Chloe's trust again.
They decided to stay as girlfriends and the idea of marriage was still lingering around each other's mind.
CR explained to Jesse what happened to Beca and was shocked about it. He asked for forgiveness to both Beca and Chloe and they remained good friends.

"Listen, do you mind driving up here to Malibu? If not, I can send a car to pick you up" Beca said

"Why? On a Thursday?" Chloe asked in confusion.

"Uhm.. Sam suddenly organized a dinner for me and some of the members of the board for the success of my album. I want you to be here, Chlo" she said.
Ever since the release of her album, her recording company had been earning a lot and more artists are moving to the company to get a record deal or work with Beca.

"Around what time, babe?" Chloe asked as she went into her car, closing the door, starting it and connecting her phone into the bluetooth speaker.

"Be ready in about two hours okay?" The brunette replied.

"Okay. I'm thinking if you can send someone to pick me up. I'm kind of tired from the clinic" the redhead said.

"Sounds good babe, I'll see you in a few."

"See you, Becs!"

"Oh and Chlo?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you so much.."

"Such a sap, Mitchell?" Chloe laughed.

"Only for you, Beale.. You're not gonna say it back?"

"Of course I'll say it back. I love you too, Beca Mitchell"

"Nice.. okay. Bye babe!"

Chloe hit the end button and focused on the road. She realized that she forgot to ask Beca what she should wear. Dinner parties like these were usually formal but then Beca would always tell her that it would be formal. But not this time, so she figured she'll wear a semi-formal dress. Not too formal and not too casual.

She took a shower and did all her body ceremonies.
After half an hour of going through her closet, Chloe settled on a white and black dress that stops just above her knees and grabbed her knee high boots and her leather jacket. Beca was really growing on her. She loved the leather jacket so much, Beca got them matching ones.
She did her makeup and decided to put down her hair and maybe curl it at the end.

About an hour later she heard someone rang the doorbell. She walked towards the door, grabbed her purse and went out. Sure enough its the driver Beca sent.

"Hey Paul" Chloe said as she recognized the middle aged man the label hired for Beca.

"Good evening, Dr. Beale. Are you ready to go?" Paul asked as he adjust his jacket.

"Paul, call me Chloe. I've told you before" Chloe chuckled.

"Sorry. Just habits" Paul returned.
