"I'll Tell Her One Day"

Beca was driving down to Malibu after what had happened. She knew that she had to go away from Chloe for both of their sanity. She wanted to stay and wait up for the redhead to talk but she can't face her. She felt ashamed and disgusting because of what had happened during the wedding rehearsal.

It was not her fault actually that her ex showed up and tried to win her back by saying something that should have been left in the past.. She was contemplating to explain to Chloe what had really happened but she knew the redhead would not listen, so here she is, giving her the time and space even though it hurts..

9 years ago..

"I'm pregnant Jesse" Beca said to her boyfriend

"You're lying. You can't be. We always use protection!" Jesse said as he paced back and forth in Beca's room.. "are you sure?"

"I am sure Jesse! Why would I lie to you with something as important as this?!" Beca yelled. She was getting frustrated and angry at how Jesse was taking this all in

"I don't want a baby Beca.. We just graduated high school.."

"What do you mean you don't want a baby? You think I asked for this?!"

"I can't. I have dreams-"

"well I have dreams too!" cutting him off, Beca was now crying.

She did not expect Jesse to not support her..

"If you don't want anything to do with me or with this, fine! You can leave.. I'll sort this out on my own!"

"Becs, babe. W-what are you gonna do?

"WHY WOULD YOU CARE?! I SAID YOU CAN LEAVE!"

Jesse stood up, walking towards the door, he said "please don't do anything stupid, Beca"

And with that, he left.

Three days after their argument, Beca tried calling Jesse but he would not answer her calls so she went down to his parents' house..

She knocked on the door and Mrs. Swanson opened the door

"Beca, what are you doing here?" She sounded so surprised..

"I came to see Jesse. We were in an argument and I just wanted to talk to him.."

Mrs. Swanson let the girl in. "Beca, I thought you knew. I thought he talked to you three days ago about it"

"About what? Where is Jesse? Where is my boyfriend?"

"He left yesterday for New York. He got accepted in NYU.. I had no idea he didn't tell you about it"

Beca was shocked. Jesse did not even say goodbye. She did not expect him to leave her like that..

Beca stood up quickly and was headed down for the door when Mrs. Swanson caught her

'Beca, I'm sorry. I did not realize you two are still together"

Beca's eyes narrowed. "WHAT?!" she asked with anger and hurt in her voice..

"Well, Jesse said something about going to New York with her girlfriend, Ashley. She got accepted to NYU too"

Beca was furious. She wanted to say something but no words came from her mouth. She just started crying. Mrs Swanson hugging the tiny girl trying to comfort her

"I'm so sorry dear. I don't know what's gotten into my son's head" she said as she was trying to console the girl..

The tiny brunette sniffed and try to regain her composure. Pulling out from the hug, she wiped her tears with the back of her hand..
