"You have to like her Dandy you just have to." Gloria Mott whispered to her son. "And marry my own cousin like you did?" He asked. "Why yes, we have to preserve our families bloodline."
"That no good father of hers already cut it off by marrying someone else but you. . You are going to continue it, right Dandy?" Gloria asked. "Well I suppose she's pretty. But I want those twins mother, I need them." Dandy pouted.
"Eve is much more prettier don't you think?"
"No you don't understand! Eve doesn't have two heads! She's boring! Like everybody else!" He exclaimed crossing his arm.
"Good morning aunty, Dandy." Eve smiled walking down the stairs. "Good morning, sweetie." Gloria smiled. "Whats with all the tension about?" She tidied her skirt and walked to her chair.
"Oh Dora what are we having for breakfast today?" Eve asked. "Eve do you love your cousin Dandy?" Gloria asked. "Well yes I do. Is that even a question?" She asked.
"Well I suppose she's okay for now." Dandy huffed. Dora walked inside the room with a tray of breakfast. "I don't know what I'll do if he hurts Miss Eve." Dora muttered.
"Dandy what are you up to today?" She asked. "I'll tell you after we have breakfast." He said causing the girl to nod. "Okay then."
After they had breakfast he pulled his cousin and smiled, "I'm going back to the freak show." He stated causing her to tilt her head. "Are you insane Dandy? Why the hell do you want to go back?" She asked.
"I have to be one of them. I can feel that I'm a freak too deep inside." He said. "Aww Dandy don't say that," Eve frowned caressing her cousins cheek. "You need to be thankful. For the things we had."
"I am thankful. I just want to have more friends thats all." He pouted. "Do you want to come with me, Eve?" He asked. Just then an image of that lobster boy came across her head.
"Uh sure."
"Wonderful! I know I could always count on you cousin!" He exclaimed embracing her into a tight hug. "Okay let go of me now."
The two of them drove into the tents while Eve spotted the familiar tents. She tried to shake off the feeling that they're being watch. "This place gave me the creeps every time." She mumbled.
"Its those rich jerks again." In the distance Paul declares. "Yeah its them. Whats her name again, Eve?" Jimmy Darling went over to see them. "Jimmy!" Eve yelled from the car.
"Dandy would you mind?"
Dandy smiled storming off his car. "Its you again." Jimmy smiled opening the door for her. "At least some of us are a gentleman." Eve said looking smugly at Dandy.
"Jimmy, lobster boy. I–"
"I told you. If its about the twins, they're not for sale okay?" Jimmy asked. "No its not about the twins. I want to be a performer here. I've always felt like I'm a freak inside myself."
Jimmy has this pained look on his face. "Dandy, don't say such offensive things." Eve frowned looking over her cousin.
"You don't have any idea how lucky you are to have hands like that. Now go back to your home. This is not where you belong." Jimmy growled. Dandy was shock at first and then he frowned.
"Fine!"
"You're walking back home Eve because I don't feel like being in the same car as you." He said storming off. "Whatever jerk! I don't like your bratty attitude anyway!" She exclaimed.
"Dandy you're not going to actually leave me are you?" She asked walking behind him. "Oh yes I will!" Dandy yelled back. "Dandy! Aunty Gloria is going to be so mad." Eve pouted.
"Then I'll just deal with her! Thats what you get for opening your mouth." He glared before driving away.
"For fuck sakes Dandy!" She growled.
Just then she heard a cough. "Oh, I'm sorry you have to see all that. Family arguments." She blushed looking down at the ground. "So thats one hell of a cousin huh?" Jimmy asked.
"You could say that. I never blamed him though, he's family after all." She shrugged. "Believe me, I know a lot of things about being in a family." Jimmy said. "Do you want to take a look around? I promise I'll drive you home before it gets dark." Jimmy asked.
"Oh. I suppose we can." The girl nodded. "So you're new around Jupiter right? Want to drive around town?" Jimmy asked. "Oh! That would be lovely."
"Jimmy! You promised to clean your–" A woman with a beard stopped as she saw Eve. "Well hello there young landy. You are Mrs Motts nephew right?" She asked.
"Oh well yes, I'm Genevieve Mott. Its really a pleasure to meet you mam." She shook her hand. "Call me Ethel. Ethel Darling." The lady smiled. "Oh! You must be Jimmys mother. How wonderful." She clasped her hands together.
"Yes I am." Ethel said looking at her son. "I don't know where you got this one but this ones a keeper. She's so polite and nice. Not to mention she's loaded. Don't mess this up Jimmy."
Jimmy looked at his mom weirdly and chuckled. "She's my friend and I'm taking her to see the town for a bit. I'll be back before dark mom, I love you." He waved before walking to a motorcycle.
"Oh, its been a while since I got on those." Eve nodded. "Do you mind?" She asked while Jimmy helped her up. "See its not so hard right?"
Eve blushed nodding at the sight of his smile. "Off to the town we go."
