"Jeremy, what's bothering you?" I asked. He had sat back from his computer rubbing his temples.

"It's Coda. It's weird, but when I track her on Lyoko her marker is purple, except it has XANA's mark in red on her details box like his monsters. And on her picture there's a mark on her neck. All I can see is a line and a tiny bit of an arch but it looks like the top of XANA's symbol." Jeremy said.

"So?" I asked.

"I know she's not working for XANA, but she's connected to him some how and until I know I'm a little unwilling to trust her." Jeremy said. He pulled his glasses off and set them on his desk, rubbing his eyes. "Also, she's exceptionally powerful. At least as much as you or XANA and yet she acts like a ... what's the word...?" Jeremy paused.

"Servant? Prisoner?" I suggested. Jeremy nodded. "I've noticed it as well. But she did give me some good news today." I said. When Coda had told me, I couldn't believe it, but I wanted to tell Jeremy once we were alone.

Jeremy put his glasses back on. "And what's that?" He asked.

I took a breath and smiled. "My father's alive, sort of." I said. Jeremy smiled.

"That's great news. That means we'll be able to pull him out of Lyoko and to safety here on earth." Jeremy said. I nodded.

"Coda said that she doesn't have all of his genetic code, but enough that through using mine she'll be able to rebuild him. She's even got his memories saved so my father really will be my father." I added happily.

"That's wonderful news, Aelita. I can't wait for your father to join us here on Earth." Jeremy said. I nodded.

"Alright, I've got to go to bed, but call me when you go to Sector 5. They others will need my help with the mainframe." I replied.

"Alright. Good night, Aelita." Jeremy said.

"Good night Jeremy." I replied, closing the door behind me.

It wasn't the first time I'd dreamt of Lyoko, but it was the first since the Supercomputer had been shut off. We were in the core of Lyoko, except Coda wasn't there. There was monsters, but they weren't trying to shoot the core. Instead they worked to keep us back from it. XANA was there to, pacing behind the monsters with a sly smile.

The Scyphozoa appeared from higher up, floating down to join us. It wasn't alone though, Coda was in it's grip. The Scyphozoa wasn't taking her memory: even so Coda was unconscious. Odd shouted something, but I didn't hear it. Everything was muffled, there were no words, although I could hear somewhat muffled sound. XANA held up his hand and red circles of energy appeared around Coda as the Scyphozoa let her go.

Coda dropped to her knees just in front of XANA and opened her eyes. She struggled but quickly gave up. "I'm sorry I never told you. You have to get out. Now." I heard her say. XANA smiled and touched her left cheek with the back of his left hands fingers before trailing his fingers around behind her head and to her neck. She shuttered as he touched the outside of her neck before his fingers slid to just inside her turtleneck and he whispered something to her.

Coda gasped and her head tipped back, her eyes closed and her mouth open, and XANA smiled. Odd fought to get past the monsters, but it wasn't going to happen. Coda's head came forward and as she opened her eyes, the bands disappeared. But now her eyes had XANA's mark in red instead of her black pupil.

I sat upright, a scream dying on my lips. I sat there panting for a second. The dream reminded me of my old nightmares with wolves. I got up and slipped across the hall to the bathroom. I washed my face off and grabbed the sink, looking in the mirror.

I was pale and my eyes looked shadowed. I touched the mirror and sighed, my head spinning. Last time I had a dream like that it came true, ending in my father's death. And the worst part was I didn't how this one ended.

I sighed and went back to my room, being careful not to get caught by Jim, our PE teacher/Hall monitor. As I entered my room my phone went off. I grabbed it fast and answered.

"Aelita, we're heading for the factory." Jeremy said right away.

"Alright. Give me a minute and I'll meet you there." I answered.

"Aelita, are you okay? You sound frazzled." Jeremy asked. I smiled at how concerned he was.

"Yes, just a nightmare like before. I'm alright." I answered.

"Alright. Care to share?" Jeremy asked.

"Later. I'll tell you on the way to the factory." I answered. I hung up and set about getting dressed. I pulled my window open after I was in my pink dress and moved up to the window sill.

All the girls lived on the second floor, but mine was in the perfect position to get down. I climbed down about four feet then jumped the last 6 or so. I rolled as I hit the ground and jumped up, running towards the woods.

Ulrich was just about to go into the sewers and I called "Hold on." He smiled and stepped back holding the sewer lid open.

"After you, princess." He said with a slight down and a smile, holding his hand out to help me.

I took his hand and he helped me down. "Thank you." I said sweetly before climbing down the ladder. Odd, Jeremy, Yumi, and William were waiting for me and Ulrich below. "Hello. I'm all set to go." I said.

"Great. Let's go. Coda's waiting." Jeremy said. I nodded, grabbing my scooter and we all set off through the sewers.

"Virtualization." Jeremy said as we were Virtualized on sector 5 of Lyoko. The boys had been first and Yumi and I came after. Coda wasn't there yet and I looked around the central room.

"Hey, Jeremy, Coda's not here. Should we go on without her or what?" Ulrich asked.

"Why doesn't William and Odd stay here and wait until she shows up while you, Aelita, and Yumi go ahead and look for her materialization code?" Jeremy suggested.

"Alright. Let's go." I said. The door to the rest of Sector 5 opened and the three of us ran. Ulrich was ahead of me, being the fasted, and Yumi was close behind me. We passed through the center hall and approached the elevator that would take us to the celestial dome outside of the Sector 5 sphere and give us access to XANA's memories.

Ulrich raced ahead through the path and we all slowed to a stop on the ledge that took us to the very fast moving elevator. We all paused waiting for the right moment to jump and then jumped as a group. The elevator took us around the inside of Sector 5.

The elevator spun around and then slowed to a stop. Another door opened and we ran outside onto the ledge. Yumi and Ulrich kept an eye out for mantas as I set to work getting into XANA's memories. I started up the blue, partially see-through touch screen and hurried though the major systems, trying to get to the subsystems.

"Jeremy, I can see Coda's whole file. XANA had an entire section of his brain devoted to just information about her." I said. I tapped it and set to work sorting through the information.

"Jeremy, I can find out anything I want about Coda." I muttered.

"As much as I would love for you to do that focus on finding her materization code. It's bound to be well protected. Heads up Yumi, Ulrich, mantas at 2 o'clock." Jeremy reminded.

"Okay." I looked around and found several highly difficult to get to files. "Jeremy, where should I start?" I asked.

"Let me see what I can do." He replied. Suddenly the screen started doing things on it's own and I knew Jeremy was working on it. He opened a few files and one caught my eyes.

"Hold on. I think I've found it." I said. I clicked on it and it opened up a file. My eyes widened. "Jeremy, I think I've found it." I said. I yelped as a laser hit me in the chest. The laser had come from through the screen.

"Sorry, princess, but we've got to go. We know where it is and we came come tomorrow and grab it. Right now, it's to risky." Ulrich said. I nodded and closed the screen.

"Right. Sorry, Coda." I whispered. We all took off heading back to the central dome.
