"You really are mysterious...arent you"

At last, the boy had seemed to return and yet...he doesn't seem all too happy to see me. His wide eyes and trembling hands remind me of either fear or shock, probably a mixture of both. Despite his emotional expressions, mine remain blank. I can't exactly reach my lips to a smile when I know the hell i'm in if I'm caught , but like hell I couldn't see him again...something about him is so captivating. Though my farther doesn't see it that way, he just sees civilisation as disaster and a disgrace...I can't exactly blame him, though it doesn't mean I agree with him. Anyway, back to the story.

M "I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to...y-you're the...y-you're the merman who-!"

The smaller boy went to yell in surprise yet my hands met his lips, silencing him within a brief moment with my explanation of little words

T "No one must know I'm here, so I'd appreciate it if you could keep sound to a minimum"
M "S-Sorry..."

He had muttered an apology, retrieving my hands from his mouth as he retrieved the odd drawing of someone familiar...oh wait. That's me.

T "did you draw this..?"

He only seemed to cluster up at the question, having the paper clenched between two rather damaged hands. Yet he broke a nod though his little flushed head.
I nodded in return, my eyes seeming to be stuck on it...he's actually really good at drawing.

M "y-yeah...I just didn't want to forget what you looked like...eh-I-I didn't mean it to sound creepy!"

His shy little self soon turned manic, muttering constant apologies before I could even respond. Yet again, I managed to silence him though with a single finger to his lips.

T "it's really good"

He almost seemed stunned at my response , sounding a few stutters instead of sentences. Many would call it annoying, though I find it oddly interesting. Have pure blood humans always had a charm to them?

M "T-Thank you...I-I'm Midoriya Izuku, just call me whatever you please"

I nod, his name oddly being recognisable...

T "Pleasure to finally hear of a name. Todoroki, Todoroki shouto"

I extended my hand to him , expecting a handshake , though all I got was a look of childish curiosity. He seemed so happy to just hear of my name, he's almost irresistible...

M "N-Nice to meet you! Oh! I uh-i really wanted to thank you for saving me. I-"

T "It's okay, no need to explain yourself"

I had pulled my hand back by now, though he still seemed captivated in my appearance..? More precisely my scales , though it's understandable. It's not every day you see a cursed Merman.

M "O-Okay...but before you go...can we just talk? I want to hear more about you, I-if that's okay"

Now I was the one left stunned, his interest really did show off. Though there was a problem with that question...I'm not supposed to communicate let alone be seen by a human in this form and yet , here I am. But I couldn't just refuse him, I mean just look at those eyes-

T "S-Sure...though this must remain limited and between us. I shouldn't be here, or in any contact with your kind"

He seemed to understand so easily , telling me simply to wait for the boy. So I nodded , seeing him leave the pier only to step onto the golden shoreline and eventually wave me over.
So I follow , meeting the smaller boy on the beach as shortly planned . Entering the shallow water to be just that little closer to me despite his shorts becoming soaked in salt water. And due to the water being present , I was able to sit beside him. Yet again drawing his attention by my scales and fantasy like merman tail.

It wasn't long till we began talking, getting to know one another and even becoming friends. Or maybe closer...

I did mean to update much more frequently yet a lot has happened recently. And overtime I have changed my writing style slightly so you might often see a change XD

I promise you it'll be more interesting in the next chapter! Whenever it may be XD
