I don't know what happened a few minutes back, if Brett hadn't called I would've kissed Theo, a huge mistake

I mean, he's cute but he's not gay, he just got caught by the moment, besides I'm in this weird kind of relationship with Brett right now so...yeah

That night, after Brett and I kissed he told me how much he liked me but was afraid to tell me because I was with Jack back then and I would've rejected him

We spent the night talking and laughing, it was great but there was something odd, I felt this strange emptiness inside of me, like if something was missing

"Hey, cutie are you still there?" I blink and stop "time-traveling" through my mind

"Yeah, sorry I got distracted that's all, anyways why did you call?" I doodle things in the sand with my toes

"I was worried, Mason called me to ask if you were with me, why didn't you go to school?" My body tenses slightly

"I just didn't feel like going, you know with everything that's going on I ju-" he cuts me off

"It doesn't matter Liam, you need to go to school that should be your only concern right now" I'm shocked... I thought he would be more supportive...

"Excuse me? You're not even going to ask how I'm doing? How do I feel because of all the shit that's going on?" I'm not sad, I'm confused and mad

"I didn't think you would care about it! They're just rumors! Nothing to worry about"

"Well I guess you don't know me enough then, you could've called me or something but no, you didn't, thanks for ruining my lovely day! I was having so much fun until you called" I start breathing steadily just like my therapist told me to and it works

"Hey, wolfie, you okay?" Theo's voice reach my ears and I bet Brett's ears to because he starts talking

"Where are you? You're with Theo, am I right?! Why are you even talking to him? He's a horrible person! He left leaving you alone at the party!" One thing is that he thought I was alright with all the shit but I won't let him talk like that about Theo

"You don't know him! He's not a horrible person, why can't you just give him a chance?" I sigh "I'll talk to you later, bye" I hang up and throw my phone to the sand

"Li?" T sounds scared but also kind "Everything alright?"

"Yeah, It doesn't matter" I give him a fake smile

"I know you're lying but I won't force you to talk if you don't want to" I nod

"Thank you" I smile a little bit feeling weird with Theo in front of me

"Wanna go?" He asks carefully

"Yeah..." I turn around and reach my clothes so I can put them on

The sun is starting to hide behind the big mountains; it's so quiet.

"I'm ready" I walk slowly back to Theo and he nods taking out the key of his truck

"Let's go then..." We start walking and I look at my hands feeling a little awkward "I'll drop you at your house, right?" He asks once we are infront of the truck

I stutter a little before actually talking "Uhm, yeah, please..." He sighs before getting in without saying anything

With a little bit of doubt I get in too and stay quiet waiting for him to start the truck, but he doesn't

"Why?" He just stares at the big glass infront of him

For one second I thought he was talking about the kiss that almost happened, until he start talking again

"Why are you lying?" I frown and look at him, what is he talking about?

"Excuse me?" He sighs and looks at me with, a sad face?

"Why are you telling me you want to go to your house when you actually don't want to?" I bite my lip looking away

I knew I should've told him about my life, like he did but I just can't it's kind of hard for me

"It's complicated okay? I just don't like going home, that's all..." my heart is beating so fast that I think it will explode, I'm afraid of going home that's a fact

"Alright..." That's all he says before he starts the truck engine leaving me with doubt

Theo should've turned to the right to go to my house but he didn't...

"Uhm... Theo? This is not the right direction to my house" I look at him confused but he doesn't seem to care

"I know" He keeps looking forward

"Then?"

"We're going to my home, I won't leave you in a place where you don't feel safe" He looks at me for a second and that's when I know maybe his not just my friend...

Okay, so... I saw the comments of yesterday's chapter and you really like the story that means I will continue with it, I'm not sure how long it'll be tho but I'll give my best

Btw this was the las draft I had left so I should start writing more drafts so I can keep updating daily, love you so much! It means the world to me knowing you love my work❤️❤️
