Intro-

Located in the mountains of Norway is the village of Valhalla, run by the High priestess Fenri the berserker. They live a fairly peaceful life when wars are not waged, they are one of the only two villages that have successfully tamed dragons. They believe the dragons were given to them by oden to keep them safe from harm and to keep them as companions.
The high priestess has the largest dragon known to Norway, the hydra. Second largest going to Everest, the mountain dragon.

Beliefs-

Valhalla believes that women are the strongest of the species, most soldiers are female and they are called the Valkyries. Named after the strongest soldiers in Norse mythology, there is only two men in the army. Edvarg and Björn.
All children get their dragons at their own time, most get theirs after they turn 3 but it can be as late as 13. Most dragons that the kids get are the smaller breeds such as the floraWhisp

Their village is hidden on the mountains, with a beautiful lake beside them and a forest behind them. The land of Valkyries is gated in with the high priestess's home

While the rest of the village is not far from them, maybe a ten minute walk, two minute ride if your dragon is up for it
