Chapter 24

The whole day Gauri ignored Omkara and Omkara began to feel sad.

Omkara was hurt seeing Gauri ignoring him. He tried to apologize to her but he was interrupted by Rishabh, who was sticking to Gauri.

After class, he thought of speaking with Gauri.

"Gauri." Omkara called her.

Gauri ignored him and began to walk.
Omkara stopped her getting in front of her.

"What do you want now Omkara? Go find Ridhimaa. " Gauri said harshly.

Omkara was hurt listening to Gauri, she never spoke to him in that tone.

"Gauri.. " Omkara tried to apologize to her but was interrupted.

"Gauri." Rishabh popped out of nowhere.

Omkara and Gauri turned around to face him.

"Hey Hi Dude. " Rishabh said to Omkara.

"Gauri, can you show me where the library is? " Rishabh asked Gauri.

"Why can't you ask anyone else? " Gauri said irritated by him.

"Didn't Ms. Dwivedi asked you to help me around? " He said.

Gauri groaned internally.

"Fine. This way. " Gauri guided Rishabh leaving Omkara behind.

Omkara stood there watching Gauri and Rishabh go.

"You really messed it up." A voice came from behind.

Omkara turned around and saw Anika.

"You messed it up Omkara, you hurt Gauri. " Anika said.

"I didn't meant to hurt her, Anika. It's just I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me and I ended up hurting Gauri. " Omkara said sadly.

"I can understand you Omkara. But Gauri is very possessive about you." Anika said.

"Don't know what to do now, Anika. I really regret everything, I hurt Gauri and her silence is killing me, I can't bear this anymore." Omkara said with his eyes getting moisturized.

"Gauri is really stubborn when it comes to her feelings. And today by defending Riddhima, you hurt her feelings. Even I can't help you in this Omkara, Gauri will not listen to anyone now. " Anika sighed and went.

Omkara covered his face with his hands sighing deeply.

"This is the library and If you want anything ask others. I am not your assistant. " Gauri said seriously to Rishabh.

"Woah... Cool Ri. " He said.

"Don't. Call. Me. Ri. Only my close ones are allowed to call me that." Gauri said angrily, the guy is really getting on her nerves.

"I thought we are friends. Anyways we can be friends. Friends. " Rishabh said forwarding his hand.

"I am not interested in making friends. I have many other important works. Bye. " Gauri said and walked away.

"Do you think I will leave you that easily. I fell in love with you the very moment I saw you. Rishabh Kapoor is not the one who accepts his defeat so easily. I will make you mine Ri." Rishabh said looking at Gauri's retreating figure.

"Gauri, please, listen to me for once. " Omkara begged Gauri standing in the parking lot.

"Omkara, I don't have time to listen to all the shit. Go and tell that to your Riddhima. Spare me. " Gauri said harshly and drove away not even giving a glance to Omkara.

Omkara was deeply hurt and went home.

Anika, Bhavya, Gauri and Richa are watching Salman Khan's movie in their apartment.

"Gauri, see your favourite scene is coming. " Bhavya said cheerfully.

Not getting any response from Gauri they turned and saw her thinking about something deeply.

"Gauri." Richa called her softly.

"Ha.. Haan Richa. Why did you called me? " Gauri asked.

"Gauri, are you alright? " Bhavya asked.

Gauri nodded her head.

"Gauri, you can share with us. We are friends. " Richa said sitting beside Gauri.

"We know you are upset about Omkara. But Gauri, you should really should have spoke with him once." Anika said.

"What to talk with him, Anika. Today he scolded me for that Riddhima. If he wants play the Knight in Shining armor role for that Chudail let him be. Who cares. " Gauri said angrily.

"Gauri, he just don't want any fights. That's why he tried to explain." Anika said.

"Leave it, Anika. Let him live his life, I don't want to listen anything about him." Gauri said and walked inside her room.

Anika sighed.

Omkara reached his apartment and broke the things in his room in anger. He was angry on himself for hurting Gauri.

He opened the small room that is attached to his room. The room is filled with Gauri's pictures and her paintings.

He sat in the room crying thinking about Gauri's behavior towards him.

"I know I did a mistake by hurting you and I regret it Ri, please don't punish me with your silence. " Omkara cried looking at Gauri's painting.
