Third pov

15 September 201x
《Fuck this shit, I'm out.》Though a young lady in the first morning, just after she woke up.

The sun was beautifully shining, a thing she never liked.
Her parents bedroom had a great window and morning's sun would wake them early even in off-work days, it wasn't very pleasant. They could have used curtains, but her 'father' always forgot them open.
So, her "parents" woke up early and irritated, which would lead to not letting her have breakfast but only cook for them, not giving her her apple, that would be her lunch, receiving some kicks and insults...stuff like that.

Then, school. She walked to school, and being the village pretty tiny, there was only one. And it was 2 km away from her house, she lived the furthest possible from it (so lucky). So every day she left as soon as she could in order to get there on time. Not really for lessons, she already studied all the school year's program, so she was fine. The reason was that she loved to draw and it was less dangerous to do it before lessons.

Let's be honest, she wasn't really a social butterfly. To tell you the truth, she didn't have friends at all. Maybe because she was bullied. Yes, kids liked to insult her, to take her things and trow them in the lake or in mud, and surely they loved to beat her up just like her "parents" sometimes did. She enjoyed being alone, not being left alone. It's different, ya know.

No one helped her, not that she expected them to. If her "parents" where the way they were, the others couldn't really be any better...so she saved herself all alone, but didn't really get known as a heroine.
She went all the way up the mountain near the village, Mt. Ebott.
The legend told:

"Long ago,
Far away,
Centuries before our day...
Humans lived,
Monsters romed,
Both shared earth and sky as home.
Yet this peace
Came undone,
War was raged and humans won.
Forced below,
Monsters fell,
Humans traped them with a spell.
Listen, children, to my words:
Ebott will eat you,
Beware the course!
Monster's teeth go
clack, clack, clack.
If you climb the mountain,
You won't come back!
Human child, human child
Won't turn around.
Human child, human child
Oops they fell down!
Human child, human child
Locked down below!
Down underground where the monsters go..."

《Perfect, right?》She'll disappear, and finally be free. Or so she thought. But fait and destiny are cruel, either you believe in them or not, because instead of dying she fucking ended up 'living' for +100 years. Just a spectator of her life, nothing more. Sad? Yeah, I think so. And trust me when I say it is, 'cause looking from the side, even if I kinda like it, it's really sad.
The girl climbed it. The mountain, I mean.

And just as she was about to take her shoes
Off on the mountain, there she sees:
No one's there today, it means it's time.
Down the hole sees a grave: "That's mine!"
《There's no one who could talk me out,
There's no one here to push me down》
So putting on her green 'n' yellow jumper, now
Cutting her hair with her sharp blade short,
That petit girl is not gonna flee,
She jumped down thinking she'll be fucking free.

She was wrong.
