Chapter 3

*Few days later*

I started getting videos ready for the move that way once I'm over there I won't have to worry about immediately getting a video posted. I already made the video of me explaining that we are moving to Korea. Even though I know people will understand if I don't post anything I don't want them to wait months for a video. So I'm making enough videos to post once a week and can go a month or two without filming, that way I can settle down.

All I've been doing the past few days is filming and editing like crazy. I'm starting to get stressed that I wont be able to get enough videos made which is causing me to not sleep more than normal. Which is making Mark and Jaehyun worry about me. I hear a knock at my door while I'm editing a video.

“Come in!” I say not taking my eyes off the screen to see who it is.

“y/n…” I hear Jaehyun say I look over to see him sitting down on my bed looking down at his hands. “I'm worried about you I know you want to get videos made so that way you have time to pack and explore Korea when we go but…” He starts fidgeting more looping nervous about what he is about to say. “ You aren't sleeping and eating you told me you would take better care of yourself but instead it's getting worse.” He runs a hand through his hair and looks up at me worry is evident in his eyes. He looks so stressed out and I start to feel guilty knowing I'm the one who made him this stressed.

I get up from my desk and walk over to my bed. I sit down next to him, I grab his hand he looks over at me. He looks like he is on the verge of tears. I then wrap my arms around him and hugged him. He moves his body so he's facing me making it easier for me to hug him. Once I feel him wrap his arms around me is when I start to talk.

“I'm sorry I've been making you stressed I didn't mean to” I whisper into his ear. “I just really wanted to get this done so I don't have to worry about it in Korea. I swear I'm almost done I just have to finish editing everything.” I look up at him to see him looking down at me biting his lower lip.

“y/n you need need a break you've been working your ass off to make these videos and if all your doing is editing then  I'm asking you to go somewhere away from here to get your mind off of things. I'll even go with you I need to destress from worrying about you.” He whispered to me pulling back from the hug. I bury my face in his chest thinking about what he just said. He's right we both need a break from everything.

“Alright I'll go shower and get dressed and we can go get something to eat then go to the arcade how about that Jeffery.” I look over to see his reaction to me calling him by his nickname. He smiles back nodding his head agreeing to the plan he then gets off my bed so I can get ready.

I get out of bed and walk to my bathroom and start to get ready. I first take a shower  since I haven't had one in two days now, since I've been busy with YouTube. Once im done I dry off with a towel and start to brush my hair. I don't like blow drying my hair, so I just put it in two french braids. Next I put on very little makeup just some foundation and mascara. I walk back into my room and try to find an outfit. I settle on a mint pocket tee, black ripped skinny jeans, and some mint converse.

Now that I'm done I walk into the living room to see Jaehyun on his phone texting. Once he's done he grabs his keys and we leave the house driving to our favorite diner.

“Man we haven't been to this diner in a while.” The last time we went was a couple months back.

“Yeah you've been busy with YouTube. Plus with me and Mark have been busy trying to get the surprise ready we haven't had time to go.” Jae replied looking over at me with a small smile.

We arrive at the diner and we go and find a table.“Do you want your usual cheeseburger, fries, and a sweet tea?”

“Yeah I can't believe you remember my order.” I reply shocked that after all this time he still remembers.

“How can I forget when it never changes.” He chuckled then left to order our food leaving his phone on the table. While he is gone his phone dings indicating he has a message. I grabbed his phone and decided to answer it for him. This isn't unusual for us since we all are so close we are comfortable leaving our phones around each other. Plus we've always answered each others phone we have nothing to hide. I use my fingerprint to unlock his phone he has a message from someone called John Boi. Huh I wonder who this could be? I don't know anyone named John. But looking at the texts they seem pretty close.

John Boi 
Hey Jae I'm finally checking her stuff out which video should I start with?

I wonder who he is talking about. Now I don't know if I should reply or not. Every other time I've answered a text it's to someone I know but this is a complete stranger to me. But if Jae is friends with him that means he must trust him so there's no reason for me not to trust this guy.

I'm sorry this is his friend Jaehyun is busy at the moment.
But maybe I could help you whose channel are you on?

After I sent that I start to wonder who Jaehyun wants John to be watching.

John Boi
Oh its y/n channel Jae wanted me to check her out but there's so many different videos Idk which one one to start with.

Jae wants him to watch my videos now I'm really curious about who this guy is.

After that I put Jae’s phone back on the table. Whose John and why does Jae want him to watch my videos? Whoever he is he seems polite and friendly. I was so deep in thought I didn't notice when Jaehyun put food on the table.

“Earth to y/n anybody in there” He waved a hand in my face. I blinked a few times shaking myself from my thoughts.

“Yeah sorry I was thinking.”

“About?”

I started to bite on my lip “Well your phone dinged while you were gone and since you normally don't care when I check your phone I checked it.”

“Oh really who texted me?” He asked unbothered that I checked his phone. He started to eat a fry while waiting for me to reply.

“Someone named John Boi.” I started fidgeting in my seat worried that I shouldn't have answered a text from John.

"What did he want?”

“Recommendations for videos on my channel.” Even though I have no reason to be nervous, I start to worry that I crossed a line. I don't know this guy and I answered a text from him. But looking at Jae he doesn't even seem mad or worried about it he just keeps eating his fries.

“Did you recommend him anything or do I have to?” He arched an eyebrow at me waiting for my reply once again.

“Umm no I did but who is who is he I've never met a guy named John?” Jaehyun looked at me smiling so wide I could see his dimples.

“He's just an old friend. Mark knows him too, he's really nice you'll  like him.” Jae eats another fry before continuing “you will meet him when we move to Korea.”

I looked at Jaehyun shocked I didn't think I would actually ever meet the guy. That is going to be hella awkward especially  when he figures out it was me who was texting him. I hope Jae is right about me liking this guy. I start to drink my tea while I worry more about moving to Korea.

After that conversation I finally started eating my food before it got cold. John huh I wonder if he is goes by Johnny and I wonders the same one Jae made me watch on YouTube. I pushed that thought  away thinking what are the odds that it is the same guy. I think it's impossible not wanting to get my hopes up just to get them crushed.
