Chapter 4

"So are we still going to the arcade after we get done here?" Jae asks me looking up from his food.

"Yeah if you still want to go or are you afraid I'm going to kick your ass in DDR again" I ask him with a slight smirk.

"Oh yeah I'm so scared of you" he says slightly shaking his head.

"Alright I'll remember that when you are begging me for mercy" I say while shrugging my shoulders and raising a eyebrow.

After some more banter we finally get done eating. We split the bill and get back into the car ready to go to the arcade. I'm super excited I haven't been to one in so long because of YouTube. It seems like that's what has taken up most of my life now maybe everyone is right. Maybe u do need to more breaks I can't remember a time having this much fun without having any cameras on around us. Its refreshing to say the least.

"I miss this" I say not really realizing it.

"Miss what exactly?" Jae asks me slightly looking over at me before looking back at the road.

"Just hanging out with friends mainly you and not having to worry about cameras around or that I will have to edit this after." I look over at him to see he has a slight smile on his face.

"I admit it is nice to not have to worry about anything. But I also know that if we go without having a camera around we both would miss it eventually."

"You're right. Its apart of us now and I dont think I could ever stop. I dont think I will ever want to stop." I look put the window and start to think about what I might be doing now if I didnt start YouTube.

"Well we're here" Jae parks the car and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Huh oh yeah sorry I zoned out again" I go to take my seatbelt off and get out of the car.

"Y/n/n (your nickname) if you arent feeling up to it or you are getting tired we can go back to the house. I know you havent had a lot of sleep."

I can tell he is worried about me and my health but I dont want to go back to the house. When I'm at the house I feel like I need to be doing something productive since we are moving so soon. I rather have this minute of freedom before I lock myself back in my room.

"No I still need to kick your ass in DDR we cant go home yet" I joke. He smiles and takes his hand off my shoulder which has been there the whole time.

"Alright then let's go in and get some game tokens" he says before he hops out of the car coming over to my side and opening my door before I even can.

"Wow when did you turn into such a gentleman Jeffery?"

"Um excuse you I am always a gentleman." He says with a fake hurt expression on his face.

"Really could have fooled me"

We walk into the arcade and pay for some tokens so we can play some games. We foster head to the basketball game that Jae likes. I'm not very good at it but I makes Jae happy and I can always watch him play instead of playing it myself. After that we head over to ski ball which us one of my favorites and rack up some tickets. Now onto the best one DDR. Me and Jae always argue over who is going to win we play it. Normally it gets pretty close with only a little bit of a difference between our scores. There has been some exceptions to this sometimes one of us can just beat the other by a landslide. Which is what I am going to try to do today.

"You ready Jeffrey last game of the day." I say while getting warmed up.

"We both know I'm going to win y/n" he says already ready to go.

Then we chose the song and start to dance. Now it starts off with both of us doing about the same but then it happens Jae starts to slow down a bit and doesnt do as good. Which gives me a advantage and I start to get ahead and eventually I win. I'm a little out of breathe and I look over at Jae who is trying to catch his breath.

"Told you I would win" i say with a smirk.

" You only won because I let you win."

"Ok sure"

We grab out tickets and we make our way over to the prize counter but on the way. Jae stops in front of a crane game.

"Hey y/n look a crane game I havent played one in forever." He says while looking at the prizes inside it.

"We have some tokens left and we are about to leave anyway want to waste them on this"

"Hell yeah hand them over" he starts to bounce a bit as I hand him the tokens. He loves crane games and he has always been really good at them.

I watch as he goes after a bunny plushie. His first couple tries he misses it. His third try he grabs it but I falls. We are almost out of tokens to waste when he finally does it. After 4 tries he finally got the bunny. I was so happy jumping up and down and clapping he gets it and looks over at me and hands it to me.

"Jae no you won it you keep it" I say trying to hand it back to him.

He shakes his head and pushes it back into my arms. "No y/n let it be a reminder about this day since it is going to be one of our last I'm the states having fun for awhile."

" Alright fine" I hold it in my arms as we go to walk back up to the prize counter I hear two teenagers talking.

"Awww look how cute those two are together" says a girl to a boy.

They kind of remind me of me and jae when we were younger just two friends hanging out together having fun nothing more between us. Even though everyone always thinks me and him are together. People seem to think that a girl can't be friends with a guy unless they are dating or they are fucking which is absurd. I have never once had feelings for any of my guy friends and they are all older and younger brothers to me.

We get to the counter and only have enough tickets for those cheap small toys we get some and leave the arcade. We drive back home jamming out to some music. It's late by the time we get home.

"Y/n it's late and I know you havent had a proper good night sleep in a while how about you go wash off the makeup and go to bed and I can take over editing if you want." He says with a tone inaudible voice that this isn't a question it's more of a demand.

"You dont have to do that Jaehyun I'll finish editing tomorrow you need to sleep too. Good night Jeffery." I say before I start to walk to my room.

"Good night y/n" he says and head to his room.

I wash off all my makeup and change into something more comfortable. I lay in my bed and start to think about how in less than a month I'll be living somewhere else. Being around a bunch of different people and meeting all of Jaehyuns old friends. With that thought I start to drift off into a deep sleep.

Hey guys I'm super sorry that I havent been updating. I'm not used to keeping yo with writing this is my first book. But I will try to be better about updates and not wait months to update this.
