Deku x Reader

Chapter 1

I hate everything. My family just made me move to this stupid new town. I just turned six and my parents told me my present was a new house. The house is big, but I have to leave all of my friends. I haven't even gotten my quirk yet. Everyone at school is going to laugh at me. Worse yet, I have to go to school tomorrow. I don't know if anyone will like me. I have h/c hair that is really shiny in the Sun. My e/c eyes are a little bigger than normal eyes. I'm a little taller than the average six-year-old.

I am on my way to school. I nervously hold my mom's hand as we walk. We near the school and I grow increasingly nervous. There are big and small students everywhere. My mom let go of my hand as we reached the classroom and bent down kissing my forehead. "Good luck honey." I turn and gently knock on the door. The door opens and I see someone who must be my teacher. She grabs my hand. "Hi, you must be y/n." I nod. "Well come in. I am Mrs. Dacnil. Nice to meet you." I walk into the class with my teacher. "Well, introduce yourself." I look at all of the students in my class. "Umm, my name is y/n. I am six years old. I like the color f/c." The teacher points at an empty chair. "Well done. There is your seat." I look around at the students staring at me. I blush and put my head down.

We are released for recess later today. I walk out to the playground. A small group of kids walk up to me. "Hey new kid, what's your quirk?" I look over him. He has blonde spiked hair. His eyes are a reddish color. He also has a big grin. "I don't know yet. My mom has a night vision quirk and my dad has a strength quirk." He laughed. "Sounds lame. My quirk is an explosion!" Little crackling explosions started in his hand. "That's really cool!" He could make a great hero with that quirk. "You sound like Deku." I gave him a confused look. "Who is Deku?" The kid laughed. "He is the quirkless loser sitting over there." I frowned at him. "It's not nice to call someone a loser." He laughed. "Are you sticking up for him?" I nodded. "Just because he's quirkless doesn't mean he's not smart or..." The boy grabbed my shoulder. "Quirkless people don't have a place in this society. They just get in the way. Do yourself a favor and stay away from him." He walked away while talking to his friends. Did he just threaten me? I looked over at the boy sitting on a bench. I'll show him. I marched up to him and put out my hand so he could shake it. "Hello, my name is y/n, what's yours?" He looked up at me and made a half-smile. "My name is Izuku Midoriya." I shook his hand. "Well, it is a pleasure to meet you."

We talked over recess then started going inside the school. "What class are you in?" "Mrs. Dacnil's class." "Mine too!" How did I not see him before? After school we walked outside to go to our houses. I also found out that I live about a block from his house. "Maybe our parents can meet each other." I ran to my house bubbling with joy. I can't wait to tell mom and dad.

Timeskip- 1 week -

Everyone at school ignores me just because I am friends with Midoriya. He is really a nice person, but all they see is a quirkless nobody. It is the weekend and I am about to go to the park. I brush my hair in the mirror when I notice that my teeth are longer and sharp like fangs. I run to mom and ask her about it. "It must be your quirk manifesting. What quirk would make me have long teeth? I run down to the playground to tell Midoriya about my quirk. He was swinging on the swing. "Midoriya, guess what?" He looked up. "What?" I showed him my teeth. "Wow! Can I touch them?" I think for a second. "I don't know. They are really sharp. My quirk might make them poisonous or something." He nodded. "So, what do you want to play?" I looked at the playground equipment. "We can play heroes and villains. I can be the snake villain Viper and you can be All Might." He smiled. "Ok." I climbed up the equipment. He ran around the bottom and looked up at me. "Fear not because I am here." We both started laughing. "Ssso, All Might thinksss he can defeat me. I'd like to sssee you try. Mwahahaha." I jump down in front of him. We start fake fighting. He slow-motion punches me in the face. I dramatically fall to the ground. "Oh no, I have been defeated by All Might!" I sat up and we both started laughing.

"Well If it isn't Deku and the lonely dork." I look up at Bakugo. "What do you want?" He laughed. "I was bored so I came to the playground. I brought my friends." I saw two kids near the entrance. I grabbed Midoriya's arm. "Come on. We can still play with them here." He nodded. "Why do you even hang out with that quirkless loser anyway?" I turned back to him. "He's not a quirkless loser. Your an idiot for thinking you can get by that stupid ego and- ugh!" he shoved me and I fell. "What did you just call me?!" I stood. "I. Called. You. An. Idiot." Midoriya was pulling on my arm. "Come on y/n, let's go." I looked back at Midoriya's terrified face. "Ok." We started walking towards the exit of the playground. I got hit from behind and flew face-first into the wood chips. "Y/N!" I jumped up and turned around. "Nobody calls me an idiot and gets away with it." I hissed at him. He seemed confused. I was too. "Did You just hiss at me?" I looked at his hands that were making tiny explosions. "Kacchan, please just let us leave." Bakugo looked at Midoriya. "Sorry Deku, but y/n needs to be taught a lesson on calling me names." I rolled my eyes. "Midoriya, can you wait for me at the equipment?" He seemed scared. "Y/n don't fight him!" I placed my hand on his shoulder. "I'll be fine. Plus, he probably wouldn't let us leave anyway." I looked back at Bakugo. He smiled. "Finally, someone that I can test my new move on." He threw a punch at my side. My body moved before I could even think to dodge. He seemed confused. "Hey you two help me teach this dork a lesson." The two at the entrance start walking over to us. One has wings and the other has some kind of finger quirk. "I thought you were about fair fights?" He laughed. "This isn't about fighting, this is about teaching you a lesson." He and the two other kids launch themselves towards me.
