Revenge. It was sweet and tasted like red iron liquid, such a bitter taste Shadow craved to feel. Craved to taste.

All his life Shadow was bullied, tormented and teased by his classmates due to his sexual orientation, even his friends left him. But the ebony male was tired of it all and today was the day he'd make sure to end it.

The day was Friday and Shadow made sure to get to school a little late wanting to get straight to the point and bardge into classrooms pointing guns at peoples head. Seeing his classmates fear the boy they always saw as weak and pathetic sounded fun.

After loading his car with many guns and explosives, Shadow felt prepared and drove off to his meaningless school. He knew he wouldn't get far before the police were contacted but he knew there surely were some lives that'd be lost... A thought that made him grin in insanity.

....

"Everyone lock your doors! a student has been spotted with a weapon, this is not a drill!"

The frantic voice of the principle was heard through the several intercoms located throughout the schools.

Kids took cover running into random classrooms and the teachers instructed everyone to shut up and get under the desks as the lights were turned off and the doors were locked.

Sonic held the hand of his instructer letting her lead him through the halls as they fled for safety.

"Ms Vanilla, what's going on?" Sonic asked panicked, he could sense his teacher's fear and the message spread through the intercom just added to his growing anxiety.

"We might be in trouble but don't worry Sonic, we'll be safe!" The young rabbit teacher said as calmly as possible. As calm as the fact that she was 100 percent sure she would die let her. Every single door was locked and she knocked on each one in a panicked state, no one would answer though.

"Ms Vanilla..?"

"Sonic we'll be fine! It'll be okay.." The instructer said knocking on another door, her back facing her student.

"Ms Vanilla i think someone's with us.."

Vanilla turned around, her eyes widening at the ebony senior student holding a gun to the back of Sonic's head.

"N-no!" She screamed but the only reply she got was a shot to her head. The rabbit's eyes rolled back and she fell to the ground, death taking her away.

"... Miss?" The noise of the gunshot rang in Sonic's ears and he's never heard such a noise so it surely startled him. He felt around trying to feel his teacher's presence and his leg hitting against something large made him assume that was her.

"Ms.. Vanilla?" Sonic got to his knees touching his teacher's face and tears swelled in his eyes knowing something was wrong.

Shadow still had the gun aimed to the back of Sonic's head but he noticed the way he had to touch things to decifer them, he also took note how the young azure boy hadn't ran away.

This could only mean one thing: Sonic was blind.

Taking that into consideration, Shadow grinned and set the gun down by slowly lowering it. Shadow the Hedgehog had an idea.
