Montgomery

"Montgomery wake up" Mya said whispering and shaking me

Hmmm I said groaning and opening my eyes what I said

"Jahseh" Mya said looking at the stairs

I sat up and looked he's not there I said smiling

"No now come on" Mya said quietly

I followed her up the stairs then we heard noises coming from Jahs room

We didn't bother looking we went in the room and blocked it with the dresser and we laid in bed

"What if he kills us" Mya said

He won't kill us I said laughing

"You laughing I'm so serious" Mya said

Well if he does then his momma gon kill him I said shrugging my shoulders

"Whatever" Mya said

I went back to sleep.

In the middle of the night

I heard a noise coming from the kitchen my eyes instantly shot open and my heart began to beat faster

I kicked Mya gently to wake her up

"What" Mya said mumbling

You don't hear that I said whispering

"Hear what" Mya said

We heard a loud crash Mya then shot up and looked at the door

"The dresser still there so we good" Mya said laying back down

What if Jahseh is strong enough to push the door open with the dresser in the way I said

"He's not now go back to sleep" Mya said mumbling

I laid back down and it was real quiet then we heard the door knob jiggling me and Mya shot up so fast we both hit our heads together

OW I said

"DAMN HARD HEAD ASS" Mya said rubbing her head

The door knob started jiggling harder and harder WE FINNA DIE I said whispering and holding on to the blanket

"Oh I'm not about to die" Mya said getting up and unlocking the window

"IMA GET MY STUFF TOMORROW" Mya said

STOP DON'T LEAVE ME I BEG OF YOU I said pulling Mya's Legs back

The door knob stopped Moving and we both looked at each other with fright it got quiet all over again

Then we saw Jahseh at the window banging which made me and Mya both scream

"THIS NIGGA CRAZY"Mya said jumping off the bed and moving the dresser out the door way

I turned on the light and his eyes were all black he got In the room and Mya grabbed me by my shirt

We ran into the basement and locked the door and we both hid in the closet we both were breathing heavy

Did that really just happen I said looking at Mya with fright

"Yeah I guess it did" Mya said we both sat in the dark closet then we heard the basement door open

"I thought I locked it" Mya said making a face

Ohhhh I forgot Cleo said it's broken-I said with guilt in my voice

Mya then grabbed a rope from on the floor and tied it around the closet door" he's not about to get us tonight" Mya said

We both backed up into the Conor of the closet hugging each other tightly my heart was beating so fast

It's like he gets worser and worser every night I said to Mya

"We gotta do something about it" Mya said

We should call Tony I said Mya gave me a stank face look I know you don't like him but his father could save us I said

"Fine" Mya said

We heard his footsteps walks by the closet door and we both got quiet

We heard his footsteps go back upstairs but we didn't move

"I don't know about you but I'm staying in this closet I'm not leaving" Mya said

I'm not either we are just gonna have to wait I said trying to get comfortable

I just said forget it and went to sleep the way I was

That morning

I woke up to the sunlight coming through the little crack in from the closet door

I shook Mya and woke her up Mya wake up WE MADE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT I said laughing

"WE DID" Mya said shooting up she moved the rope from the door knob and ran upstairs

I got up and ran upstairs and ran to the room and jumped on the bed and got under the cover and went to sleep

Mya then moved me over and she laid on the bed after that I started staring at the ceiling

"We really almost died" Mya said

I know I said shaking my head You know when I looked at Jahseh's face his eyes were all black

If you didn't yank me off that bed I would have probably been dead I said

"I know I saved your damn life" Mya said

Thank you I said

"Mhm" Mya said I could tell she was dozing off the way she said mhm so I let her go to sleep

And then I ended up falling asleep.
