Dipper sets his stuff down by the couch, then sits next to me and gives me a side hug.

    "Was it those guys again..?" I slowly nodded, not saying a word. Dipper sighs. "Don't let them get to you, Mabes.. You know their words really mean nothing, right..?"

    "Yes, I know... I can't help but believe what they say... I mean.. I gave Bill the rift in the first place, and was practically the reason the whole "Weirdmageddon" started... I was even trapped in a bubble of my own imagination, and absolutely refused to help..!"

     "But you came through.. We will always come through, Mabel. Trust me.. We're some of the only family that we have left... Sure, we have Soos, Melody, and Stan and Ford, but they can't do what I do.. always look out for my sister. They can look out for you, sure, but no one knows you better than I do. No one will ever even compare to be as great as you are.." I scoff and smile slightly.

    "At least someone cares...." Dip smiles a bit, then looks at the time.

    "It's almost 4. C'mon. Let's get you to practice." He stands up and offers his hand. I look at him for a moment, then nod and grab his forearm, pulling myself up.

    "One thing's changed about you for sure... You don't have glass bones anymore." I say with a small laugh. Dipper starts to blush.

    "Hey..! No fair.. I was like.. 12, okay?" I laugh.

    "C'mon, Drama Queen. Let's go."

As we approached Marko's house, I could hear them start to play our favorite song to warm up: Still Into You by Paramore. I smile softly and approach the garage. One of Marko's brothers, Lugluk, was the first to notice me. He smiles and walks over, then gives me a tight hug.

    "Heya, Mabes! Long time no see!" I smile awkwardly.

    "Um.. Lu..? Can't breathe..." I say between gasps. Lugluk chuckles and lets go.

    "Sorry about that.. Forget about my own strength sometimes." I roll my eyes a bit.

    "Seems to run in the family, I guess.." Marko pretends to look offended.

    "Excuuuse me, princess..! I don't know what you're talking about." I roll my eyes at the nickname.

    "Whatever.. No one's broken my guitar yet?" They laugh a bit, and Lugluk hands me my guitar. I smile softly and thank him, and make sure it's tuned. Afterwards, we start playing, Marko and one of his brothers on the guitar alongside me, Lugluk on the drums, and his other brother Borya on the keyboard. Dipper sat on the couch we had in there and smiled softly, tapping his foot to the beat. I smile, starting to feel better, and getting lost in the music.

    We finish the song and Dipper claps, smiling brightly. I laugh a bit and set my guitar off to the side, and Dipper runs up to hug me. I look at him weirdly and hug.

    "You hear me play almost all the time.. why does this time get.. all the sudden bear hugs..?" I ask Dipper. He smiles and pulls away.

    "Because you deserve them. For putting up with all the bull people give you and keeping your head held high." He says with a bright smile. I roll my eyes and feel my cheeks heat up a little bit. Marko chuckles and gives me a side-hug.

    "He's right. You need all the hugs you can get, and deserve all the sudden bear hugs." I laugh a bit and roll my eyes. 

    "Thanks, guys. You're the best." They all nod, then we all clean up the garage. "Soo.. anyone want to play some games or something?" I ask as we finish up. Marko's brothers start cheering and I look at them strangely, but laugh anyways. "Alright.. games it is."

Hey, peeps. I'm really really sorry for the updates that take forever... School started a few weeks ago, and it's hard for me to find the motivation to do anything but lay in bed and do nothing because I.. have no life. :/ 

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this (short) chapter, and I'll see y'all soon.
