Game Over, With Hell To Pay

Chapter 2

"Participant 1204 and 1202 are dead. There are 7 remaining contestants."

"Chanyeol?" Baekhyun asks tentatively.

"Baekhyun! I'm so glad you're alive." Chanyeol runs toward Baekhyun and embraces him while he's grounded to the concrete floor and doesn't know if he should be happy or sad that Chanyeol is here with him right now.

"No no no no no.... you can't be here Chanyeol, no. This can't be happening!" Baekhyun pushes Chanyeol away from him with worry crushing down on him.

"Why? Aren't you happy to see me?"

"I am Chanyeol, but now we'll never be free. Either one of us or both of us end up dead. No Chanyeol I can't do this!"

"Baek, we'll figure it out later okay? There'll be a way out. We just need to get rid of everyone first. Okay? You can do that right? You can be strong for me right?" Chanyeol soothes Baekhyun, being the reassuring person he always is.

"Yeah.... I'll try my best..."

"That's right ladies and gentlemen, they both make a lovely couple don't they. Well 1206 and 1209 here were set to get married later today. Y'all asked for something different, something exhilarating, well here y'all go, enjoy the rest of the event."

"Participant 1201 is dead. There are 6 remaining contestants."

"Come on Baek, we need to move. Do you have a weapon?"

"Yeah, a dagger."

"Did you kill anyone?"

Baekhyun nods his head guiltily, eyes brimming with tears.

"Shh baby. I'll do the dirty work okay? Just stay by my side."

"Anyone think these two are couple goals?"

"I know right. They make this all the more exciting."

"Okay Baek, I need you to act as bait. Is that alright?"

Baekhyun nods affirmative and Chanyeol narrates his plan to lure contestants.

They walk around for some time, until they come across a contestant aimlessly roaming the corridors and so they hide behind the wall at the bend. Time to put their plan into action.

Chanyeol finds a room closest to the contestant, which has only a table and surprisingly there is an untouched katana lying on it. Before the contestant can leave the corridor Baekhyun enters the room and acts as per the plan as Chanyeol effectively hides behind the door.

"HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!" Baekhyun keeps screaming until he hears a pair of feet running toward him.

"Afraid, kid? Meh, you should be. I'm going to end you. You should know better than to alert enemies of your position," the targeted contested says, as he slowly makes his way to Baekhyun who is positioned farthest from the door.

Chanyeol waits for a few seconds and when he thinks the man is at a reasonable distance he quietly moves away from the door and ambushes the contestant, decapitating him without consuming much time.

"Participant 1210 is dead. There are 5 remaining contestants."

Baekhyun stares at the head on the floor in utter disgust causing him to throw up the contents of his stomach.

"Baek are you okay? Come on. Don't look okay? Just follow me."

"This 1209 guy is pretty good. Didn't even flinch while he killed that guy."

"Was he a serial killer before this game? He seems pretty fine decapitating a guy."

Baekhyun and Chanyeol are soon off to make their next kill and successfully kill a teenage girl. Baekhyun is very against what they did but Chanyeol reminds him that they can get out only if they go through with killing the girl and everyone else who isn't dead yet. And fortunately, they acquire dual handguns from their kill.

"Participant 1207 is dead. There are 4 remaining contestants."

There are two more people that the couple has to get rid of before they could face their dilemma and so both try to concentrate on taking out the last two contestants.

They encounter participant 05 not too long after, who manages to injure Baekhyun. The woman is quiet feisty and leaves Baekhyun with a gash across his left cheek, before Chanyeol is finally able to take a proper aim at the woman and shoots her right in the head.

"Participant 1205 is dead. There are 3 remaining contestants."

"Okay Baek one last contestant to go and then we can take our time to figure this out."

"No Chanyeol, I don't know what to do. I can't do this. I want to get out of here. Please get me out of here, please!!!!"

"Baek, shh calm down, I'll get you out of here. I'll try my best. Trust me. Please." Chanyeol tries his best to calm Baekhyun down and he cannot be more true to his words. He loves Baekhyun so much that he would be willing to take his own life for Baekhyun's sake.

"Participant 1203 has killed himself. There are 2 remaining contestants."

"Chanyeol what are we going to do now?!"

"Okay, let me think." Chanyeol comes up with something you could call a plan or maybe an impulsive reaction, and looks around for any cameras and finds one behind Baekhyun.

"That's it. It's either the both of us are let out or we both die here and now. You won't have a clear winner so I suggest you let us out right now." Chanyeol says as he walks past Baekhyun and looks directly into the camera.

"Well 1209 y'all can choose who survives or y'all can both die. It doesn't matter either ways. This episode was to see how human nature can be deceiving and well, I may be right."

"What? Let us out! Come on you fucker!" Chanyeol shouts in confusion.

"I'm sorry Chanyeol."
