A girl invited me to date. That was not the first time for a girl had a crush to me. Although almost half of the girls also avoided me because I am weird, tacky, boring, weird, and weird.

I really remember about that girl. Maybe she was only one year younger than me who asked me to have a date. At that time, I was fourteen years old. The time when every day I almost watched every kind of films with a lot of tortured scenes. In the night after watched the films, I could not stop thinking of how exciting it would be to torture or torment other human beings.

This girl. The girl who I still remember until now. Even her facial expression of fear for the last time was recorded clearly in my head. He invited me for a date when I was in a school canteen alone as usual.

Flipped in my head why did not I just say yes? Finally, I just nodded and gave some proviso, that she had to obey my will when we date later.

The sun began to hide on the west horizon caused a hue of sky that became scarlet. I took her to the rooftop of the hotel where we both had lunch. We were just common lovey-dovey two teenagers in people's eyes.

"How about looking at the twilight sky?" That was how I persuaded her. I still remember her clothes that match with afternoon sky. Her sweet smile, I admit she was adorable. But, it was temporary.

She nodded happily without a second thought

She nodded happily without a second thought. We both then watched at the San Jose's sky which turned to become scarlet with skyscrapers as decorations.

"You promised me, right? Comply with my wish, anything?" I assured her by holding her hand tightly.

"Of course," she said with a thick Australian accent. I only know that she has a Korean lineage and a transferred student from Australia.

Listened about that, I smiled widely. "Well, then go up on the edge," I asked then turned my gaze to the edge of this twenty-story hotel rooftop.

She looked at me confused without feeling any suspicion. "What do you mean?"‌

"Yup, go up there. I'll hold you. Chill out," I whispered next to her ear. She stretched. Her face blushed, looked like I managed to tease her.

"But, I'm scared," she whined as she stared repeatedly at the edge of the rooftop that had distant ground.

"You can feel the afternoon breeze," I smiled convincingly. I just bet on myself, if she did not go up that time, so that meant the chance was not that time. But, amazingly she nodded after my last allurement. After that, the girl climbed the edge of the rooftop of the building. I smiled, was it really this easy? At that time I assumed that love made people being silly. Then, I hold her hand which was higher than mine after she climbed that edge. "How? You can feel the afternoon breeze, right?" I told her. She nodded with an innocent smile.

As if she could read my mind, she started stretching her arms while closed her eyes

As if she could read my mind, she started stretching her arms while closed her eyes. Felt the afternoon breeze solemnly. With just a little touch I could make her wobble towards the edge of the building that was enough to kill one human.

The position of her body stretched out facing me as if the base of the building wanted to devour her. I held her hand swiftly to arrest her from falling. Her scream was shrill, she was almost devoured by gravity. Her body hung on the wall of the building.

In my mind, I really wanted to shout with joy, but from outside I made a fake panicked expression.

"Vary! Help me! " She sobbed. My hands were cramped for a few seconds. I held that position for a few seconds. She screamed in fear.

"My hand is cramped," I said, "Thank you for the date," I continued, then freed my hand on her which started slippery because of her sweat.

On 26th August 20-- in one of the San Jose's buildings, a thirteen-years-old girl jumped from a 240-meter-tall building. That was how the news was printed in various California newspapers the day after the incident.

That girl, Michaela. Is the first girl that has received an award from me. At least she died happily after dating me.
