My passion burns brighter than the sun
Your compassion shines down on me like the moon
Two halves of the same whole
So close, yet so far apart
It's no wonder that we're always compared
By everyone that surrounds us
One is always better than the other
In most people's eyes.
You can't blame them in a way
Because that's just how the world is
I am the only one
That knows how you feel
That can protect you in the dark
And keep you standing up
You're so kind to others
That it hurts my heart
That I have to lie to you
Over and over again
How long can I keep hiding this feeling
This emotion that spells out jealousy?
Until I apologize
For all of the lies that I told you
When that day comes
Will you regret that I was born
Will you scold me
Or ignore me like I did to you
