Jennie always wondered why she won't meet the qualifications of the South Korean companies she once applied for. She completed her studies without any sanctions but it appeared like the world is going against her wishes.
On Saturday mornings, Jennie will leave home to visit a shop three blocks away from after being qualified for a job. It was recently when she decided to work in this coffee shop. Her life in Hawaii was a piece of cake until she had an argument with her employer, got dismissed from work, and returned to South Korea as a completely unemployed woman.
Entering the shop, Jennie quickly slipped into her uniform and tied her hair nicely to provide a positive impression towards this weekend's set of customers.
She then moved to the counter - her usual spot.
Store hours had gone open and customers started to saunter in and out of the shop, taking the cup of their choices.
Sure, she's paid at minimum but she enjoyed the job.
Well, she thought so... before a familiar figure of a man was seen on the queue.
