The next morning I heard a knock on my door. I get up from my bed and make it to the front door. I open the door and Michael stands in the door.
"Good morning sunshine."
"Um... Morning..."
"I hope I didn't wake you."
"Oh... No..." I lied. He totally woke me up. But okay...
"Are you going to invite me in or not?"
"Oh... Sorry. Come on in." I step aside and let him come inside. I closed the door behind me and turn around to face him.
"So I thought I should bring you some breakfast and coffee. Since you won't have the chance to cook or anything with the moving in."
"Well thank you. That is very kind of you. But I should probably go take a shower first and dress more appropriately."
"Take your time." he says with the friendliest grin on his face.
"I won't be long." I say and I make my way to my room. I get my clothes and make my way to the bathroom. I quickly take a shower and brushed my teeth and hair and I got dressed. I put on a loose tshirt with tight, light jeans and vans. My hair I put up into a messy bun. With light makeup. Eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss.
I make my way back to the kitchen to where Michael was busy taking out the two coffees and muffins. The smell alone makes my stomach roar from the hunger.
"I'm back." I said and he turns around to face me.
"Yeah... Definitely more appropriate." He says smirking. I chuckled and felt my cheeks turning all red from the blush forming on my cheeks. He turns around again and he takes a cup with a muffin and he turns back to me, holding it out to me.
"Breakfast?" He asks me. I take it and smile at him.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome love." He says smiling back at me. And my cheeks turns more brighter from the blush.
He turns around to the counter again and take his coffee and muffin. And he then turns back to me.
"So what do you do for a living?" He asks.
"I'm a secretary at a law firm near here. What about you?"
"I'm a delivery assistant. I deliver packages to people."
"Oh okay."
"So what do you do when you don't have to unpack?"
"Well I love reading, watching movies... You know those kind of things. What about you?"
"Same except for the reading part. What's your favorite color?"
"Blue. What's yours?"
"Green."
"What else do you want to know about me?"
"Whatever you want to tell me."
"I'm the kind of girl who likes to sit at home, read a good novel or two. I don't like going out so much. I'd rather be home with pizza and beer than go out to parties and get wasted. Does that sum me up for you?"
"It does yes. But speaking of parties. One of my friends are throwing one tomorrow night. And I was hoping you'd like to come with me."
"Fine. But if I want to come home please don't ask me to stay."
"Promise."
"Well I should get done with the rest of my things."
"I'll see you tomorrow night then. I'll pick you up at 7:30."
"Okay. See you tomorrow night Michael."
"Good luck with the unpacking."
"Thanks."
I let Michael out and just when he was about to leave, he turns around and leans into me. I think he was trying to kiss me or something. But I stepped away from him and look down to the floor.
"We should take this slow." I said.
"Okay..." he says. I look up at him and he smiles. He leaves and I closed the door behind him. And I unpacked the rest of my things. Soon I was all settled and my apartment was looking more like an apartment and not some storage room.
