Stepping back (part 3)

Grace had a frown on her face a she looked up. She was confused. She started to question if chester wanted to go further.

Grace stepped back away from chester.

"Chester." She said nervously.
"wait grace." Chester said anxiously. Grace pulled up her dress, zipped it up and grabbed her bag. She took one look at chester and walked out the door.

Chester ran after her " grace it's not what you think!" He shouted. As he stepped out the door with her.

"What is it?" She said with tears in her eyes. Chester paused. She started to walk away again.

" I thought you loved me " she whispered as she walked away.

Chester grabbed her arm " look at me" grace looked into the distance. "Look into my eyes grace" he looked into her big brown eyes filled with tears.

"I do love you. The only reason I stopped is because..." He paused again not sure how to say it.

"Because of what chester? You lead me on thinking 'I could have a relationship with you' but in reality I can't because you don't love me!" She yelled at him, tears falling from her eyes.

" grace I love you. I just wasn't sure if you loved me back." Chester said shyly as he looked down as he couldn't look at grace while she was crying.

Tears started to form in his eyes, as he didn't get a response from grace.

He looked up and grace kissed him.
