I walked out onto the streets of California, my dyed blonde hair twisting around in the wind. My colored contact blue eyes, darting amongst the people. I clung tightly onto my dress, hoping it wouldn't fly up, recreating a Marilyn Monroe moment. I saw people making a huge fuss over someone, they were running towards them, screaming. Come on people, we are in Los Angeles,I California. What do you expect? I pushed past the crowd, trying to maze my way through them, and to Starbucks. When I finally got in, my layered lace dress was a bit tousled. I fixed it, and ran my fingers over the beads that surrounded the sweetheart neckline. The dress went a little above the knee. I was wearing hot pink high heels and a cute hot pink head band. I always enjoyed throwing little splashes of colors in my outfits. I waited in line, tapping my heels and scrolling through my phone. I wasn't really paying attention, until a certain name was called out. One I had heard before but couldn't place.

"Eleanor Calder." The voice repeated. I thought for a moment but was quickly destroyed of that opportunity when I realized it was my turn to order.

"Vente, Mocha Latte, with a double shot of Mocha. Non-fat please. No whip cream." I informed the girl. I came to Starbucks almost everyday so they all knew my order basically, and knew me.

"Of course KD." I smiled at her and waited for my name to be called.

"KD Krane?" The barista announced a few moments later. I smiled and grabbed my coffee. I was just about to walk away when my eyes caught onto someone else's. My heart started pounding, the world spinning. I felt my stomach clench into a knot. I dropped my coffee, finally recognizing who he really was and stood there as it hit the ground and splattered everywhere. Thankfully leaving me untouched somehow. I felt the ground shift under my feet and i stumbled backwards as the flashbacks corrupted me.

*Four Years Ago, Valentines Day*

"Kathleen, I love you more than possible you know that right?" The boy said, before planting a kiss on my lips. I went by Kathleen back then.

"I love you too." I smiled at him, my boyfriend of two years.

"I want to get married to you one day." He chuckled. Resulting in a laugh from me.

"You won't want me when that day comes." I joked, causing him to stiffen a little. I was sitting on his lap while we were at his house. We had lived by each other since we were little.

"Of course I will." He kissed me again.

"Well, we are only 15 baby. We have time." I smiled at him.

"And I want to spend it all with you!"

"You just as cheesy as mac and cheese!" I giggled resulting in him giggling.

"Kathleen, I have something for you."

"You didn't have to get me anything!"

"Well I did." Just than he pulled out the prettiest ring I had ever seen, it was a rose gold band with engraving on the inside that read, 'Forever and Always'.

"Baby is that a?"

"Promise ring? Yes. Because I promise you, that I will love you till the day I die." Instead of saying anything he slid it onto my left ring finger. It fit perfectly and was gorgeous too. I showered him with kisses, over and over again.

*End of Flashback*

I felt the tears welling up in my eyes. It was him. I looked down at my left ring finger, where the ring was. The one I never took off. I closed my eyes letting another flashback steal me away.

*Four Years Ago, August 17th*

"If you want to save him, here's what you have to do. I want you to go to his house. Tell him you never loved him. All of it was fake. He meant nothing to you. He was an easy target for you. You never loved him. You never wanted to be with him forever. He was worthless, he always will be and always has been. You have until midnight tonight or I put a bullet through that pretty little head of his you hear me Kathleen? And after, I want you to leave. I want you to run away, change your appearance, I don't want you to ever comeback. If you want to keep him alive you do exactly what I say. I want him to believe every word he hears so make it good." The voice over the phone commanded me. The tears were streaming from my face. I loved him, loved him with all my heart. I couldn't be the reason for his death. I wouldn't let myself.

"Okay." I cried before hanging up the phone. I grabbed the keys to my car, I had turned 16 in May. I put them in my pocket before packing all the things I needed in my suitcases. My parents were out at work and they wouldn't be home till 7. I checked my phones time, 5:02. I continued to cry as I got together everything that I valued, all my important pictures, my clothes, EVERYTHING. I packed them all into my car before writing my parents a note.

Dear Mom and Dad,

I love you guys with all my heart. I always have I always will, but I need to go. I have to leave. Its for everyone else's own good. I am so sorry. I never wanted things to end like this. I have to run away. Tell everyone I love them. I will miss you so much. And whatever you do, make sure he follow's dreams, he will make it. Tell him not to worry about me, its what I want. I love you.

Kathleen, your daughter.

My tears stained the paper as I got put it on the kitchen counter. I got in my car and drove to his's house. When I got there, I got a text from an unknown number.

Good job, now do as you were told or the man on the roof across the street will use his snipper rifle and do as HE was told.

I didn't text back, only cried harder. I ran up to his's door and knocked on it. A few seconds later, he appeared, his smile slowly fading.

"I-I. I'm leaving. I can't stand to be around you anymore. I d-don't love you, I never did. Y-you're w-worthless to me. I never wanted to be with you, and definitely not forever. You mean n-nothing to me. You are a nobody. I am leaving this country because I can't live here, knowing you will be here too. g-goodbye." It was so hard to say because I was crying and so was he. Also, known of it was true.

"P-please, you don't mean that. Known of it. You-you're lying. Pleeease stay. Please, I love you. Kathleen, stop. P-pleasee" He pleaded but I shook my head.

"Know, I NEVER want to see you again. Ever. You DISGUST me." I was just about to walk away, because I knew he was believing every word I said.

"D-do me a favor?" I cried, even harder.

"A-anything! A-anything for you."

"Please, follow your dream. Thats all."

"B-but,..."

"Goodbye." I said as I slammed the door to my Lexus shut. I drove and drove, the tears pouring out my eyes. I hadn't really understood where I was going until now.

"Welcome to the Dublin International Airport, checking in?"

"I just need a one way ticket to California."

*Flashback End*

The tears started pouring out of my eyes. I tried to back up, away from the boy who was walking towards me. I ran into the wall and was stuck. I turned and started running out there door. I made it about halfway down the street till two boys jumped infront of me and one and each side, circling me in a way. I turned to meet the boy I was running from's gaze.

"Kathleen?"

"H-Hi Niall."
