Part 4

Taehyungs voice was scratchy from last night so on the way to florida he didnt say anything, I didnt talk to him so it didnt hurt him but I did tease him when the others didnt pay attention, like he did to me. That's when me and Jin started talking and Namjoon went to sit with Yoongi so he could sleep and I moved next to Jin, soon Jimin sat by hoseok and joked around with us, Taehyung was sleeping beind us and I kept an eye on him. It was fun being like this again, forgetting things that happened in the past like it never even happened.

"TaeTae, time to get up"

He moaned from the pain and looked at me

"Kooks it hurts"

I laughed, his voice was so scratched up that it sounded like he ate glass or something

"You gotta walk it off and pretend like your okay, just a sore throat"

I leaned in and kissed him, making sure to let him know I was sorry for hurting him. When we got off Jimin ran up to me and Tae

"Jimin~ssi~"

I cooed at his sleeping face which made him giggle, he looked at Tae who was still tired and sore

"He okay?"

I felt myself blush very deeply and he shrugged and left while I took Tae to the room to let him shower, I even gave him pain pills and something to numb his throat. We decided to go for a swim, seeing Jimin and Hopie in there, we were goofing off and splashing each other when Hobi said

"The youngest are finally playing around some?"

We both blushed, but I noticed how he pulled Jimin close, then let go and dunked him. We started laughing as he thrashed around trying to catch Hope-hyung, then Jin called him over and he left so me and Tae kept trying to team on Jimin and dunk the boy but he ended up going under water and pulling me. We played for a while until Hobi came and said he was leaving early, Jimin seemed upset when he found out but me and Tae kept him company

"Sorry hyungs..I'm tired"

I said and looked at Tae who blushed and looked away then he was tackled by Jimin. I went straight to my room and fell to my knees, I'd been having flashbacks a lot, I only told Taehyung about it but he didnt know when I had them.

I leaned into the wall, still wet from the pool

~Flashback~

Burning wood, all around but all I saw my mother, laying on the ground bleeding and dying as I held onto her.

~end what we know~

I had to force it away and change, looking in the mirror I saw something I hated. There was a knock on the door so I splashed water into my face and called out

"Yes?"

"Its Namjoon...Can I come in?"

I shrugged then remembered he couldnt see so I opened the door and sat on Taehyungs bed

"Oh wow Jungkook...you okay?"

I nodded and faked another smile

"I'm okay."

He sat on my bed and looked at me, I remembered me and my mom sitting and talking the last day I'd seen her, she guessed I was gay and then died before I could talk to her again

"Kookie, you're lying to me, remember I've been around since you were 15. I can read you like a book sometimes, talk to me"

I shook my head no

"You've been like a father Namjoon, that doesnt make you my father so please leave"

He sighed and hesitantly left. It took all I had not to break down right then, I got a phone call and froze, looking at it then seeing it was just Tae

"Hey baby~ me and the others are gunna eat, last chance wanna come?"

I smiled to myself when he called me 'baby'

"Uh..nah I already ate "girlfriend" so go without me"

I heard him laugh and Jin say something inaudible

"I'll be back later I guess...I wanted to check on you anyway. How are you?"

"What do you mean?"

He sighed and I think he said this to someone else

"I need to go to my room and change, I didnt bring my clothes out with me"

I heard someone, I guessed Jimin say 'okay'

"Kookie..baby I'll be there in a min okay?"

I nodded, knowing he couldnt see and I hung up. A few moments later Tae came in and hugged me close to him, his heart was always so fast with me, not once did it slow while he was with me

"You didnt look so hot when you left...like something was bothering you, more flashbacks?"

I lied straight through my teeth

"No...go have fun, I'm going to sleep."

He smiled, got changed and left.
