Chapter 2- Vampires?

——Violet's P.O.V.——

I was terrified when I woke up. I had a cloth over my mouth so that no one could hear me. My wrists were tied together so tightly, the ropes course through my skin and made them bleed. The chains rattled as I tried to get out of them.

"Ah. Look who's awake."

My eyes widened. A muffled "What do you want with me?!" come from my mouth that they could surprisingly understand, even with he cloth over my mouth.

"You really are clueless." The hooded figure snarled as he stepped out of the darkness. He looked up and his eyes gleamed red. He walked over to me and circled me.

He got up close to me, and he opened his mouth farther, revealing two fangs. My eyes widened as I realized why my parents had always acted like there was something they were hiding from me: Vampires were real. I just struggled more as he pinned me against the wall.

"Behave, and I may not kill you as fast." My heart was pounding. I screamed as I suddenly felt a sharp pain from my neck and a liquid trickling down it. It wouldn't matter anyways since it was muffled.

After he heard me scream, he just made the bite deeper. I started to feel dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out. I all of a sudden heard a door creak open.

"What did I say." growled someone who I couldn't see. "Go get your own if you're that thirsty." Said the late-teenager right in front of me.

"I said, leave them alone."

"Is that a threat?"

He shook his head. "No, it's not. They didn't do anything however, so, just leave. Them. Alone."

He cocked his head to the side. "Ah, Ace, you were always different. But I'm afraid I can't do that." He stepped closer to me as my eyes widened, terrified.

"Leave. Her. Alone!" He snarled as he was knocked to the side. I watched as they fought with each other. What seemed like an hour later, a brown-haired guy with blue eyes stepped out and split them up. "Okay, okay, he'll leave her alone, but only until the day is over."

I was then left there. They walked out and I eventually fell asleep, trying to ignore the pain.
