"wait take a look at this." adena says as she hands jungkook a picture.
jungkook studies it carefully, "what exactly am i suppose to look at." he lightly chuckles.
adena sighs, "it looks like this pattern that someone posted, take a look." she hands him another picture, this time of brownish lines on the floor, the same sequence as the picture they were given as evidence.
"my auntomatic vacuum accidentally ran over my dogs shit and tried to paint the floor with it," jungkook reads the caption.
"so, it wasn't the deliver man!" jungkook then realizes what adena was trying to say.
"bingo," adena laughs at jungkooks reaction.
"but where's the vacuum in the apartment where the girl died?" jungkook says looking through the files.
"it says here, that they found a vacuum outside, 5 stories up from where it fell was the girls balcony. it must've fallen out. because take a look, the lines stopped right on the end of the balcony." adena explain, showing jungkook the lines in the picture.
"did we just figure it out?" jungkook asks.
"i think we did." adena laughs.
"oh thank god, lets finish up the reports so we can hand it in tomorrow." jungkook says opening up a document.
adena quietly looks at him, admiring his face.
i swear i've met him before, not at the apartments. just some place else.
adena snaps herself out of her thought and begins to help jungkook out with the report.

"and, done!" jungkook says ending off the last sentence of the report.
the two both let out a big sigh, both laying down on the floor.
"we actually did it, those two idiots better buy us food the next time we see them, they've done nothing!" jungkook says closing his eyes for a few minutes.
adena laughs nodding.
"i never noticed how late it is." jungkook says looking at his phone.
1:49am. shit.
"oh shit i should get going." adena says sitting up.
"before you go, you want to go get some snacks, we haven't really eaten anything for a while and i feel bad for losing track of time and not feeding a guest." jungkook shyly says also sitting up to look at adena.
adena slowly nods, "sure, there's a c convenience store done the street." she says standing up.
jungkook nods. leading her out the door as they make their way to the store.
