She took a deep breath and put her hands back in mine.

Jennifer:Alright so talk to me about something.

I kept taking slow steps back pulling Billie with me.

Billie:You seem like a natural in the water.

Jennifer:Yeah. Swimming has always been my escape, i can just let go and relax. The world isn't as loud underwater. What is your escape?

Billie:It was dancing.

Jennifer:Was? What happened?

I kept walking back and i could see Billie kind of getting into deep thought.

Billie:I got injured.

Jennifer:Dude that sucks. Are you better now?

Billie:Yeah, but dancing just isn't the same anymore. Now my escape is music.

Jennifer:Is it difficult for your escape to also be your work?

Billie:Sometimes, but most times its not.

Jennifer:Thats good. So tell me a show you like.

Billie:The office.

Jennifer:Aye me too. You remind me of Stanley.

She kept laughing and we stopped.

Jennifer:You did it. Dont freak out. Its only 5 feet deep, no sharks or nothing.

She nodded her head and looked down.

Jennifer:You ready to let go?

She nodded slowly and let go of my hands floating by herself. I smiled at her.

Jennifer:See..this isn't that bad.

She laughed and rolled her eyes.

Billie:You right. Im sorry for being a little bitch.

Jennifer:Lets be honest you're probably gonna forget about me in like a week or so.

She put her hands on my waist. I shivered because her rings were really cold on my bare skin.

Billie:Im really happy that I met you. You've made these days fun.

Jennifer:Im happy i met you too. Don't get all soft on me now.

Billie laughed and shook her head. We looked around just because and saw there was nobody else on the beach.

Billie:Guess all you're friends left.

Jennifer:Dick suckers.

We laughed.

Billie:I really like your friends.

Jennifer:We should probably get out of the water by now. It must be like 8 pm or something.

We swam out to the shore and grabbed our clothes. We waited for a little to get dry(with the hot summer breeze it wasn't difficult) and then put our clothes on.

Billie:I don't want to go home just yet.

Jennifer:Alright then lets go.

We walked down the shore until we got to this bridge. We went to the middle of it and sat down with our legs dangling off.

Billie:This is beautiful.

Jennifer:I know right. You can see the waves crashing.
