There's beauty in the way she'd hide her face, masking all the pain and shame. She's never let them know how she'd fallen from grace. Once a beautiful angel with the whitest of wings, her golden locks gleamed like the sun. White wings grew weak and golden locks started to fade. The love of a boy had both blessed and ruined our once strong queen. She'd hide her face and never dare show her wings, for both had lost their light, now a mirror image of the night. Even the purest of hearts can turn to hatred, when the thing you want most gets ripped away from your hands. The world is cruel and love is divine, the trouble with that is sometimes we aren't allowed that with which we most desire. Forbidden to see her love the queen grew angry at her people and at herself. So she locked herself away until her final days.
