We were just cuddling in bed, occasionally kissing but no talking.

We just couldn't.

A baby. We were both so young and a baby would only...

Make things better. That little voice in my head kept saying that every time I thought about the baby. I wrapped my arms tighter around Nico and nuzzled my nose into his neck. "I want him," I whispered.

"Hm?" Nico asked.

"I want to keep the baby." He looked up to me, tears in his eyes.

"So do I," he whispered, the biggest smile on his face. I smiled and leaned in to kiss him, slow and passionately. "I love you. So, so much."

"I love you so much to."

Nico

Telling everyone was harder the I had expected. Percy had introduced me to Hazel, and Frank, and Piper and they were really cool people.

They were also really supportive about the baby.

But Leo...

~ 2 weeks ago ~

Leo rushed into the house I was sharing with Percy and hugged me. "I missed you! Ugh, why did you have to be gone so long?"

"I had some complications," I said. One minor complication.

"So what did you need to talk to me about?" Leo asked, sitting down on the couch.

"Well, there's been a development in the relationship," I said looking down.

"What?"

"Well, remember how we used to think about how we couldn't wait to adopt the cutest kids with Percy and Jason?"

"Yeah."

"Well, um..."

"YOU'RE ADOPTING?! I'M GOONA BE AN UNCLE!" He smiled and hugged me, shrieking.

"No, um..." I rubbed my stomach where I knew the baby was. I smiled everytime I thought of him.

"Wait," he said. "You're... You're pregnant? "

"Y-Yeah." I was still looking down as I felt a stinging on my cheek.

"You're a monster," Leo spat, glaring down at me. "You disgust me." He stormed out of the house, slamming the door. I burst into tears. I couldn't believe my best friend, the boy I trusted most of all, didn't want to be in my baby's life.

He's disgusted by me.

I'm a monster to him.

I rubbed my stomach, silently crying. "I love you," I whispered to my stomach. "So much. I hope you know Daddy and I love you. Leo isn't going to get damm near you. I'll cut a bitch then.

~ Now ~

I was sitting in a doctor's room, swinging my legs.

"You ready?" Percy asked.

"More then anything." It was my first ultrasound. I, truly, was a little nervous. I mean, there was a little person growing inside me. It was so weird.

Finally, the door swung open and a tall woman walked in, smiling. "Hi," she said. "You must be Mr. di Angelo. I'm Dr. Elizabeth Sutton. Please, call me Liz."

"H-Hi Liz," I said. "I-I'm Nico and this is my b-b-boyfriend Percy." She smiled and shook Percy's hand.

"So, I understand you're in for an ultrasound?" She asked putting her clipboard down on the counter. I nodded shly and she smiled. "Okay, I just need you to lay down and lift up your shirt."

I laid back and lifted my shirt to expose my pale stomach. She squirted a cold gel on my stomach and I shivered. "I know," she said. "Just a little cold." I smiled and she placed a a wand on my over the gel and turned on the machine it was connected to.

A few minutes later, a weird noise filled the room. "W-What is that?"

"That my dear, is your baby's heart beat. And it's rather strong to." She moved around until she settled on a spot and pointed to a spot on the screen. "That is your baby." Tears were streaming down my face as Percy gripped my hand.

"That him," Percy said. "That's our baby."

"I'll give you two a minute." Liz stood, walking out and smiling.

"That's our baby," I said. "God, he's perfect."
