EDIT: I am making a second attempt at writing this book. This little (book) outline is here just in case I fail again...though I doubt anyone is brave enough to take up this project.
That is the title, and don't rant on how cliche it is. It's symbolism. The song (the original and the Supernatural fansong "Plead the Fifth") is what inspired me to come up with this whole shishkabangbang. It is both the main character's and her mother's lullaby. I wanted some of the lyrics to be sown artistically into the story, like in a flashback or a surfacing memory while comatose. It obviously didn't happen because I couldn't get past the latter part of Chapter 3.
Let's get to the important stuff. *pulls out huge stack of college-ruled notebook paper*

Back-Up Title: Before I Fall
Possible Other Titles: Before My Fall, After Your Lift; Cold, Sad, Broken Hallelujah; Deaf to the Voice; When Angels Fall; Abandon All Hope (Yup, multiple titles you can choose from or make up your own, if you can)
Settings: USA, Idris
Present Time (when the storyline starts): 2031. You can pick the month and the day. (I did a shitload of math for this, distancing the birth of the main character from what's going on in Supernatural, deciding how old she's gonna be when the story starts, and how can I make future America seem realistic enough.)
Genre: Fanfiction, Fantasy/Sci-fi.
Fanfic based on: Supernatural (the TV show, not the books) and The Mortal Instruments (If you haven't read the series, you need to, because this fanfic is heavily wired down on this series. Also read the companion book The Shadowhunter's Codex.)
