Leah's Poem

I defy the stars,
I defy you, God.
How can you take what's ours?
What are the odds?

That you would take my dog,
You took her out in pain.
I couldn't see because my eyes were fog.
Now I will always be in vain.

All you could see was her eyes,
Twinkling, shimmering, golden sun. 🌞
All I could think we're lies.
That was told by anyone.

You took her when I need her most
You took her soul, now she's a ghost.
