I walked into the kitchen of 221b and pulled open the fridge. I hadn't had my own fridge in ages, even though this wasn't exactly mine. John had told me to make myself at home. I had rearranged my room, putting my few possessions on and in the nightstand. Sherlock had been generous enough to lend me one of his many laptops. Although he had only given it to me after I had been sitting in the living room watching T.v. and Sherlock said it was distracting.
Looking into the fridge I saw a great assortment of things, test tubes, bags full of blood, a milk cartoon, and a few Tupperware containers. I opened one, it was filled to the top with some sort of animal bits. I opened another full of chopped up carrots. I decided on eating an apple that didn't look too gross. I rinsed it off in the sink just to be safe.
I went back to the sitting room, John was typing on his laptop. Sherlock had tons of papers in front of him. I jumped over the table and landed next to him on the couch. He looked slightly annoyed and I bit into the apple. Looking over the papers I realized they were printed out copies of the pictures I had taken at Mrs.Foulards house. I reached over and tried to pick one up but sherlock slapped my hand before I could succeed.
"I've just spend the last fifteen minuets sorting these by date, don't mess them up" he said crankily, over crankily in my opinion.
"Sherlock your psychopath is showing" I said before taking another bite of my apple.
"High functioning sociopath" he corrected me angrily.
"Whatever" I said trying to sound cheeky.
He ignored me and continued his document reading. There was in my opinion a large amount of document for one person. I scooted up on the couch and tried to read them closer. Sherlock looked as if he was going to tell me to go away or back up but I interrupted him.
"I'm not going to mess it up"
I read over most of the files fairly quickly.
"So the kid in the house isn't Mr.Foulards kid? It's just Mrs.foulards kid? So she had a divorce?" I questioned, the documents were rather hard to read and I only went to school for four years.
"Yes" said Sherlock He seemed to be focused on something else when he answered.
"Anna" said John from the table "I've got you signed up for something"
"What?" I questioned hesitant to what it could be.
I saw that he was in fact on my laptop rather then his own.
"Online schooling" he said
"Really?!?" I exclaimed
"Yah here" he handed me my laptop, I took it and sat down across from John.
"It's a program where you can work at your own speed, I thought that would be good since you've missed a good portion of your education, but have the whole. I don't know, memory thing." said John, I had already begun looking through the website. It gave me a list of things I'll need, Courses & options, Everything.
I am in Grade 10, but I'm born in November, which makes me younger then most in grade 10. It was kind of a drag but I guess it's a good excuse to act immature.
"Thanks you so much John" I said smiling.
"Why would you want to be signed up for school, its retched." said Sherlock, stoping his work in order to join in the conversation.
"Because I understand that I don't know everything." I said looking up from my computer, to stare at Sherlock.
Sherlock rolled his eyes, in the worst way possible and returned to his work. while John held back a laugh.
"You know sherlock" said John "You should probably go back to primary school, then you would know that the earth went around the sun."
I laughed mockingly, hoping to annoy Sherlock "he doesn't know that the earth goes round the the sun?"
"Well I do now!" exclaimed Sherlock before John could answer.
"Well boys, I've got to go do some work, see you at supper" I said and carried my laptop to my room.
