Finding the girl

Toast's POV

Jimmy lunged at me with great speed I was lucky to dodge him and put Mikayla in a safe place! He stood across from me and twirled his knife ready for another attack "What's wrong? Afraid of lil' ol' me?!" he said and lunged at me again this time I had a weapon of my own a book... Yeah it was lame but I grabbed the first thing I touched in my bag which was my book I bring it around to you know ask people if they want it... but I swung as he lunged and the book made contact with Jimmy's head he stumbled back and blinked... His eyes were the usual red and he put away his knife "What the heck Jimmy?" I asked he scratched the back of his head and shrugged "Ooop?" he said insensitively. I rolled my eyes and picked up Mikayla and started off to HQ with Jimmy in tow.

LE time skip

We were home for an hour and Jimmy let Johnny take control "Sorry about Jimmy trying to... kill you." he said awkwardly and he rubbed the back if his neck "can you check in Mikayla?" I asked him as I cleaned the scraps and cuts I got from our adventure earlier "She's awake!" he said walking back in the room, I stood up and he said "but not in a good mood I nodded and went out to talk to her "Mikayla?" she looked at me with her hair in her face so I couldn't see her face much "yeah I don't want to talk now" she said "Why did you ran away?" I asked "I don't wanna talk!" she said getting annoyed "Mikayla. Why. did. you. run. away?" I said sternly and she broke she used her powers to keep me quiet and she cried as she said "I-I'm sorry! I know you're afraid of me and want me out so I ran away!" she cried and let me speak "Mikayla I love you! you are my daughter and I love you! you are a wonderful girl And I don't want you to leave!" I said and she smiled and got up to hugs me"I love you too daddy!"

Ghost's POV

It was so sweet to see them ok but already we had missed 4 cases! so I called them all and rescheduled for another day. Tonight I cooked supper so it probably wasn't gonna be good ... where is the spatula?... Then there was a knock on the door and Toast answered it and I heard him Gasp...
