The day starts off like any other. I rolled around in my bed. As I settled down and started to fall back asleep, my alarm went off. I groaned slightly and pulled myself out of bed. I looked around my dorm. I sighed and walked to the balcony. I rubbed my messy (h/c) hair and leaned against the railing. I blinked lazily and yawned.
"Another tiring day." I mumbled quietly.
The wind blew threw my body and I shivered slightly. I walked back inside and closed the door. My uniform was tossed into the corner. I quickly grabbed it and got dressed. I pulled my sock on and stretched out. My phone pinged and I looked for it.
My phone was hidden under all my blankets. I threw the blankets around until my phone fell out. I grabbed it and walked to the bathroom. As I scrolled through last nights messages, my mother called. As much as I would love to let it ring, she'd kill me. I answered it.
"Mother." I mumbled brushing my hair.
"Ahh, good morning." She said. "Getting ready for the day?" She asked. I mumbled a yes and grabbed my toothbrush. My mom began to ramble on about work as I brushed my teeth. I spit the toothpaste out and examined myself in the mirror. After a quick look I walked out.
"Sounds fun mom." I said walking towards the door.
"Well it would be so much more enjoyable if you were here." She said. I rolled my eyes. "We miss you a lot, (y/n)." I hummed in response and opened the door.
I told my mom I had to go and hung up. I put my phone in my pocket and walked down towards the lobby. Mina and Sero were siting in the lounge. I smiled softly and waved at them. Mina lit up and jumped at me.
"You missed it! Denki almost died!" She laughed. I giggled and glanced over at Sero. He smiled and waved at me. I smiled back softly.
As Mina went on about Denki, I waiting for nothing in particular. My eyes traveled around the lobby and spotted Bakugo. I waved at him. He scowled and nodded at me. I guess he was warming up to me. My phone buzzed and I pulled it out. My father was calling this time. I growled slightly and answered it.
"Hey (y/n). Sorry to bother but I have a question." He asked quietly. "What do you think you mother would like for her birthday?" He asked. I shrugged and sighed.
"I don't know dad." I said. Sero glanced at me. "I think she mentioned she wanted to spend time as a family." I pointed out. My dad hummed.
"That's a great idea!" He said. "Thanks sweet pea."
"Don't call me that." I mumbled. He laughed and hung up. I sighed and sunk into the couch.
Aizawa walked into and ushered us out. The squad walked together and I slacked behind. I was used to being alone. I stared at the ground. Someone bumped into me. I looked up and saw Sero. He smiled softly. I smiled slightly. We walked together.
Sero has always been there since the first day. He for some reason understood everything. I guess Sero is my only friend. He just never seemed to leave my side. No matter how hard I tried. I hummed lightly. Sero smiled as he watched me. I looked at him.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer." I teased. Sero laughed slightly.
"Nah, I think I'm good." He said.
We walked in a silence and I looked at my phone. My lock screen was the squad all making the peace sign. Even Bakugo did it. My home screen was me and Sero. He insisted upon it. I smiled at it slightly. We walked up to the class and I went to my seat. I sat next to Mina. She turned to me and smiled devilishly.
"So, (l/n), you and Sero huh?" She asked. I blushed slightly and looked away.
"What are you talking about?" I asked quietly.
"Aww come on! I know you like him." She pointed out. "You guys hang out all the time."
She wasn't wrong. We hung out all the time. He just seemed to follow me like a lost puppy. I'm not gonna lie, it was cute. I mean, I like him as a friend. I guess he did peak my time interests. His hair was cute and the way he treated me made me feel like I was loved. But I didn't like him romantically, did I?
"Hello? Earth to (l/n)?" Someone said. I snapped out my phase and looked at Mina. She laughed softly. "Thinking about him?" My face burned.
I was about to speak when Aizawa walked in and the bell rang. I sighed. Guess arguing was gonna have to wait.

After class ended, the squad walked to the cafeteria. Sero walked beside me and chatted about the plan for today. Mina looked at my and wiggled her eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and chuckled. I grabbed a bowl of rice and a carton of milk. I walked to our usual table and sat down. Sero sat down next to me and Mina sat on the other side. The rest situated themselves in front of us. I nibbled on my rice as the others conversed.
"Did you guys know that the new horror movie came out?" Mina asked excitedly. Denki lit up.
"I'd thought you'd never ask." Denki says placing an envelope on the counter table. "I took it upon myself to buy us all tickets for tonight at 10." He smiled. Mina lit up.
"Woah really? Thanks kami!" She said grabbing the envelope.
I glanced uneasily at the tickets. Horror movies weren't my favorite thing in the whole world. I didn't want to sound like a baby, but Jesus they creeped me out. Kirishima smiled and Bakugo just scowled. Everyone seemed up for it. I sighed and ate some more of my rice.
"So we all meet up at my place around 8?" Mina asked eating her sushi. Everyone agreed eagerly. I nodded softly and drank my milk. I noticed Sero didn't look to confident either. I bumped into him and smiled. He smiled weakly.
"If you get scared, you can cuddle up to me." I teased.
"Please. I don't get scared." He said bumping me back. I giggled.
"Yeah sure you don't." I said.
After class I walked to the dorm alone. The others were still in the school trying to figure out the plan. I walked to my dorm and opened the door. I closed it behind me and flopped on my bed. I pulled my blazer off and loosened my tie. I slipped my shoes off and plugged my phone onto the charger. I snuggled into my pillow and yawned.
"A little nap couldn't hurt." I mumbled.
Soon after that statement I fell asleep. Forgetting to set an alarm.
