Ch. 3

Lizzy's POV

I was getting my hair done by Nicole, 5SOS's hair stylist. I had already gotten my makeup done and I was walking backstage with the boys. Of course the boys had to brush their teeth, they have stupid preshow rituals.

We all walked backstage and they kept on telling me I was going to do great. It reminded me of when Luke tweeted about how much he liked my singing from my YouTube videos.

FLASHBACK

I posted my video on YouTube of me singing A Team by Ed Sheeran. By the end of the week I had about 500,00 views! I was ecstatic! I remember when I got 100 views I was very excited. But 500k?!? That's impossible!!! My friends always told me I was good, but I didn't know I was THAT good! I was looking through my comments and of course there were some mean comments, but the haters gonna hate. I just shook them off. There was one comment though and guess who it was from, the one and only...Luke Hemmings. "@LukeHemmings- You are an AMAZING singer! You have an angelic voice." I started to freak out. "NO WAY!" "THIS COULD NOT HAVE JUST HAPPENED!" I had a tiny fangirl freak out. Ok maybe a HUGE one. I screamed so loud that my mom had to tell me to be quiet from downstairs. I checked twitter and saw that he had posted something about me on his account.

"@LukeHemmings- Everyone should go watch this beautiful girl sing A Team by Ed Sheeran on YouTube! She has amazing voice!" I was still in shock from his comment in YouTube but now THIS?!?! I'm freaking out!! I looked at the comments from his tweet.

"@lukehemmingsisbae- she is an AWESOME singer!"

"@5sauceislyfe- she is probably the best singer I have ever heard, besides you."

"@calumhoodisnotasian- she has an angelic voice!"

Those were just some of the millions of comments. They were mostly all nice comments with the occasional hate. I just put on my hater shades and ignored them.

Later that week, I got a call from an unknown number. "Hello?" "Hi this is Adam Wilkinson, manager for 5 Seconds of Summer, and we would like to know if you would like to open for our upcoming tour?"

Right then and there I didn't know what to say I was shocked to say at the least. The first thing I did was tell him that I would call him back with an answer. "Ok that's fine just please call us back." "I will." With that the call ended and I ran downstairs to talk my mom about the tour.

"Momigotaskedtotourwith5secondsofsummerandiwantedtoaskyouificouldgo" I said really fast. "Wait, what did you say? Speak slowly" she said. "Umm, I got asked to tour with 5 Seconds of Summer and I wanted to ask you if I could tour with them?" I asked nervously. "Well, do you really want to go?" "YES!" "Ok, you can go." "Wait, are you serious? That's it??" "Even though I will miss you dearly, I know you are a responsible young adult who is an amazing singer. You should follow your dreams and pursue a life as a singer." "REALLY??? ARE YOU SERIOUS??? AHHH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" "Go and call him back!" she said. "I, uh, THANK YOU!" I said while running up the stairs. I grabbed my phone and dialed Adam's number. "Hello?" "Hey Adam I just wanted to say that yes, I would love to join you guys on tour." "Great! I'll call you later and we can discuss the tour with the guys." "Ok thank you! Bye!" "Bye"

END OF FLASHBACK

And that's how it all started. I love all these boys like brothers. If Luke had never seen that video of me singing I would had never been asked to tour with them. I would never have met the boys. I would had never fallen in love with Luke. I was getting ready to walk onstage for the last time during this tour. All of the boys wished me luck and Luke kissed me and told me that I would do amazing. I walked onstage and I asked the crowd how they were doing tonight and all I got back was one of the loudest screams I have ever heard. I sang 4 songs. I sang A Team by Ed Sheeran, Billionaire by Travie McCoy ft. Bruno Mars, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, and Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus. "Thank you everyone for such an amazing tour!" Then I heard someone scream I LOVE YOU! "I love you too!" I laughed. I heard that person and her group of friends scream really loud. " Bye guys! I love every single one of you guys!" The crowd screamed so loud I thought my eardrums had burst. I walked offstage and wished the boys good luck. I went back into my dressing when I got a text. It was from my brother... Nash.
